-Meh, RotJ was better than A New Hope imo.
-Also, there's no way the Temple of Doom beats either of the other two.
-I don't know if I even agree with the last one: Alien might just be better than Aliens.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
wzf i didn't know the temple of doom was a prequel :O

also, the game order applies to F-Zero somewhat. FZX is the 3rd F-Zero technically (if you consider BS F-Zero 2 a new game)

By the way, on www.luminothtemple.com it doesn't even mention mp3

Same as above. I tried to get on using my Nintendo account, but no dice. How the fuck do you get on?
everybody knows it's true

You have to be hand-chosen by them.
Well shit.

Anyway, I hope that we get Boost Ball back in Corruption. Damn but I loved that.
I thought I saw somebody using it in one of the videos I've seen. I may be wrong though. (Boost Ball is one of my favorite additions from Metroid Prime as well.)

I don't think we have to worry about not getting it back. Let's just hope it controls better this time around than in Echoes.
Yeah. If they add in the ability to make a sharp turn mid-boost, it'd rock. Or just make some enemies that are only vulnerable to boosting. That'd be fun. OR they could make a boss that has to be stunned by boosting, then shot with the arm cannon.

Aj linked to it in the General Metroid thread about switch/stack beams because it had something directly relating to that thread, but overall it's interesting.

The one I found interesting, anyway:
Quote from omg my link it talks:
PGC: In the press materials for this game, they're listing it as a first-person shooter. That's different for the series. Is that significant, or is that only in reference to the new method of aiming, or does it signal a different direction for the game design? Is it still an adventure game?

Pacini: It's definitely an adventure game. I think it's because the Wii controller allows us to do aiming and pointing better, we can improve that part of the Metroid Prime franchise, and do some different gameplay than we could before, but that doesn't mean it will be any less of an adventure than it was before. So I think the "first-person shooter" name is not appropriate.

Tanabe:
He is right.
soaking through
Quote from omg his link it talks:
PGC: That's fantastic. And would you say that the length of the adventure is similar to the past couple of games?

Pacini: Yeah, we're estimating right now that it's similar, twenty-plus hours.

Heh.

This interview talks about a lot of what we've found out already, but there are some interesting new elements that I haven't seen yet. They discuss the reasoning behind calling it Corruption, the way the "Hyper Mode" is going to be used, and it briefly mentions the Plasma beam. Not sure if the Plasma beam was just used as an example or if it will be in the game, but we can always hope.
hm...i wonder if they can make space boosting possible too.
I hope you mean speed boosting. Or are you talking about endless jumping while Speed Boosting?
http://www.metroid2002.com/fusion/techniques_space_boosting.php
I don't think we will ever experience that but we could always hope :D . but from what I have heard you can get in to some hyper mod ting, well will see about that.
@ nate: That was what I was talking about.
Quote from I:

@ tuomii: Hyper Mode is when Samus uses Phazon and gets a whole new moveset. If you use too much Phazon, you exit the mode, and too little will kill you.

You can get into ANYTHING you want if you can advertise yourself good.

It's certainly possible, but I can't think of a good way for it to be implemented without being unwieldy as hell.
sorry for the ressurection, but i just thought up a cool boss fight. ok, you know how everyone's talking about the wave beam and how they want it to pass through walls and such? well, i though up this:

before you get the WB, there is a machine that has it. the machine is surrounded by barriers that only the WB can pass through (and it shoots it at you). you have to do like in prime 1 with the parasite queen: wait for a hole to come by. then you shoot it with a missile. after you do this several times you destroy it, and get the WB.

i think it's a cool idea. but that's just me...

How is that any different than the Parasite Queen at all? I don't want a rehash of bosses.

Tim had a great idea in irc last night: Wave Beam + X-Ray Visor. Dunno if this was mentioned by Nintendo or if he just thought it up, but either way, it'd be really neat to see that in the game.
Anywhere, everywhere
Wave Beam+ X ray was in an official interview with retro. It's goona be awesome.

retro's creative. they'd think of a way.

Their way will most likely be to not remake the Parasite Queen... That's basically what you just described, so I don't really know what's cool about it..
