yes, and you shouldn't get stuck any more. also, the metroid part was awesome, yes? OH YEAH!! I forgot! I said I was going to give you all a mini metroid patch in the screenshot topic! Off to page one! @aigamerds: Don't know how to fix that..
It was definitely fun. The mini metroids were rather awesome as well. Only thing is, this hack suffers from "how was I supposed to know that was there?" syndrome. Quite a few areas had hidden paths with no clear markings that they existed. But other than that, it flowed pretty well.
I never did find X-Ray Visor or Plasma Beam. Feel free to spoil they're location to me.
Really enjoying this! You have an excellent sense of theme and detail.
And when I finished this, I thought, "this is crap. time to start over." I'm overcritical of my work. (I draw too. maybe I'll post some stuff some time.)
Uh oh... the game crashes when I go right here. I'm using the most recent patch. Haven't found the Hi Jump yet, either... though I haven't searched around everywhere since that last patch.
I like the Metroid Zero Mission style tourian. The escape is great. The only things is that some bugs needed to be fix. Otherwise, it's a perfect game.
Oh, and I saved the animals too and made it back to the ship in 4 seconds left.
About the mini metroid in this game, you can still kill it with power bomb.
High-Jump, if anyone is like me and has trouble finding it:
They're in the middle of the lake on the way to ice beam, but you'll need PBs first.
You know, I kept using speed booster to go across the lake east of the ship, and when I saw those blocks I assumed they were for speedboosting later since they were usually used for SB blocks in other areas. Also, someone said grapple is all you need to get to Phantoon, but I had to get HJB first, unless I missed a shortcut or something.
After you get High Jump, head towards the Ice Beam room, but climb up the shaft instead of going past the green gate. At the top of that room is another hall you can use to get a shinespark; take it back into the water-filled corridor you came from, and boost up through the ceiling. After that, the path should be obvious.
I formally apologize for the potentially confusing screenshot in my eternally long post on page 2. I realized it was wrong half an hour later, but I'd had to go to class at that time. Sorry!
ALSO, it seems all the major game breaking bugs have been fixed as of this post, besides the Metroid Madness room crashing. MoogleEmperor, Bloodsonic will most likely fix it tomorrow.
