If you sign into bestbuy.com you should be able to see it in order status or shopping history or someplace like that

Having worked at Best Buy, I can confirm that people are not supposed to be able to pre-order amiibos. It's really dumb that their website STILL let's people try to place pre-orders, but for the two years I worked there we absolutely would not let amiibos be pre-ordered since we didn't actually know how many we were getting or something stupid like that. It might've changed over the last few years, but it sounds like the same problem as before.

Having worked at Best Buy, I can confirm that people are not supposed to be able to pre-order amiibos. They put it up and take it down over and over and cancel everything that people pre-ordered during the short periods that they were available. I complained to them when they did this with the Zelda amiibos and they said it was a system glitch. If it is a glitch, then they don't seem keen on fixing it and it affects a bunch of different amiibos.

this is darkly accurate, because it turns out I didn't know this person anything like as well as I thought I did, and they ended up fucking me up quite badly. but I've probably spammed up this thread with irrelevancy enough at this point.

Everything I'm hearing about the game in terms of control is very encouraging. I've also heard praise for the animations used for samus as they appear/react flawless. Both of these things were also praised to hell when Super Metroid came out, and they're part of what made Super so amazing.
With an awesome looking/feeling and agile samus, the other thing I pray for is a clever map. Hopefully as clever as Zero Mission. I don't mean just the layout, but the careful design that was just loose enough to give you options in the order you progressed but you had to work for them. Hopefully the game isn't totally linear like Fusion.

I thought the new amiibos unlocked a fusion suit hard mode etc. But the official site says nothing of the sort. did Nintendo change their mind about needing amiibo to unlock content? I think they said the amiibo would unlock content at E3. Is that far back enough for them to have changed their mind about it?

Someone is developing homebrew for hacked 3DS's that emulates an amiibo being scanned. It is in early stages and only works for a few games at this time.

Since I have an old 3DS the above method is really the best option for me to use for this game, even though I am buying the related pair of amiibo.
