Begin grappling onto a grappler coaster but stop while still on the ground. You'll be stuck in place for a second as the grapple icon begins moving along the rail before resetting itself.

I'll post he link here too, since the whole point of it was to get through the door and get early ice missile and skipping the entire purpose of the game, couruption, that and I also mentioned it here first:

*edit*  I just realized I should have just edited my last post, sorry abot that =(

*Edit#2*  I just found the weirdest and most useless glitch ever!  to reproduce, land your ship, get back in and save..... then go get damaged until you have like, 50-20 energy  go back to your ship, and select ENTER SHIP, once inside you have been refilled, exit the ship.  how go back and get killed.  you'll restart from your save file, but with whatever HP you had when you went to the ship the second time, you won't be refilled!

That's not that weird.  When you enter your ship, it sets a checkpoint, much like when you enter some boss fights.  Checkpoints store your HP and such, of course.

When you die, it reads that there was a checkpoint, and thus loads it without questioning that you never saved.
I found a grapple glitch. It acts like you're swinging from the first hook but you're attached to the 2nd.

Phazon Metroid in wrong room glitch.  You can sometimes lure Metroids into areas that they are not meant to be in.  When this happens, they won't attack you and will appear to have mild seizure type behavior.  They will follow Samus though.  Once the door shuts, they disappear back into the room they are supposed to be in.  You can still shoot them, but you can't scan them when they go into areas they are not supposed to be in.

Phazon Metroids are pretty interesting as far as glitch potential goes. They can probably be lured to the wrong room in a lot of places, making Retro's precautions to make sure you can't bomb them through doors useless. :P

Once I was in SW2 and wallcrawled to Metroid Processing and some Phazon Metroids started attacking me in the SW. :P

MP3 is the 1st Metroid game I've attempted glitching in.  I guess you could lure Metroids in other Metroid games into wrong rooms as well?

In Prime, if you took them into another room while they were attached to you, they blew up.

No. In Prime you can pretty easily get them into the wrong rooms by letting one latch onto you next to an open door, then laying a bomb and tapping the direction of the door. They tried to fix this in Echoes by making them explode when they touch a door, not Prime.

In Corruption it seems they simply let go of you if they latch on when you're next to a door.

I seem to recall being able to exit the Impact Crater door with a metroid latched on, and seeing it explode...
Impact Crater is the one room where the glitch is abused most often because glitching both Fission Metroids into the other room allows you to do whatever you want in the room without them bothering you.

EDIT: http://www.metroid2002.com/other_metroid_quarantine.php
This is less a glitch than a stupid mistake on the part of a map artist, but there's a save station in Skytown, in the place where the Chozo planted all those big rooty trees... anyways, near the door to the save room (inside the room itself) there's two moving models of a solar system.

If you watch one of the little "planets", as it approaches the bottom of it's rotation around the sun, it's moon suddenly starts revolving backwards, and presently corrects itself again.

It's hard to explain, but basically there's a really, really stupid graphic artist out there somewhere.

That was bizarre.

I knocked a pirate into fuelgel, then leaned over to watch him burn.  He leapt high into the air right before dying, and landed on top of me, spontaneously sending me into Corruption, and promptly vanishing.  Maybe that's not a glitch... Maybe I shot him without realizing it, or maybe he fell back into the fuel gel, but it looked like I absorbed him into my Phazon reserves or something. XD
This one's pretty cool.
I got the seeker missiles early
and I came back to the main room...and well, you'll get the rest.

Thats already been doc'ed and explained.  he's a scripted enemy.  since you skipped the trigger (elevator)  it doesn't run
This glitch scared me.  I thought it could be a game ending glitch.  Thankfully, it wasn't.

That's the third time that's been posted here. From what I understand it's done by:

-put the energy cell in the first door, open it
-grapple across the pit
-open the door
-grapple back across the pit
-get the energy cell in the first room
-grapple across the pit again

Not sure that's exactly how it's done, though, it hasn't happened to me personally. My guess about it is the game only allows you to use that scanner once until the room gets dumped, not sure why. Apparently going to the ship doesn't dump rooms, though, so resetting the game would work, as would flying to a different planet then coming back.

My bad.  Sorry for repeating stuff that has been found.  I should have re-read the posts on this topic.  I decided not to delete the vid though.  I updated the vid info saying this glitch has been mentioned several times already.
Aspect Ratio glitch.  Probably found by most people who have gotten the missle expansion in this room in Norion.  Morph Ball has an egg shape.

An update on the Berserker Lord/Turbine Chamber glitch that I reported on earlier in the thread:
I finally got back to the point in the game where I could fight the Berserker Lord above the Turbine Chamber again for the first bomb piece.  I again climbed the Turbine Chamber to reach the Berserker Lord.  This time, upon defeating him, the spinners (re)activated, while the door remained blocked by the forcefield (as I guess is supposed to happen).  I was able to release the locks, retrieve the bomb component, and procede with the game.  Replaying this section gave me a new theory though.  I might have used the spinners to release the locks prior to fighting the Berserker Lord.  Doing so may have been what caused the situation I encountered, where the spinners were disabled, the locks were missing entirely, the device on the wall was disabled, and the bomb component was immobile.  I copied my save file before the battle, so I'm thinking of trying to confirm this hypothesis.  For now though, it seems the original method is still usable, but activating the spinners before the battle may create a gamebreaker situation.
clipping issue or something, not sure what to call it on the Valhalla, in the room with the Bipod (I think that's what it's supposed to be) covered in phazon from the explosion, on the right side you can see through the room to the door around the corner, tried jumping it in but sliding/invisible wall prevents it.
Vid removed.
Command Visor Audio glitch

Where's the Room?

Seeker Missle Glitch

Nice, Corruption has WtR?s now. :D

Also, earlier today I activated the wormhole to Phaaze. After opening it, I got three transmissions. The first was from Admiral Dane telling me I could go to Phaaze now. The second told me there's no going back once I arrive on Phaaze. The third told me AU217 had discovered a new planet and it had been named Phaaze.

Doesn't that always happen?
No, it doesn't. That transmission usually arrives a bit earlier in the game, and it makes no sense at all to be told that Phaaze exists and what it's called after you already have access to it and are well aware what its name is.
