@Troid92: Those glitches are not "useless," you might wish to post them in the SB topic.

They pretty much are, actually. Getting to the missile expansion without knocking down the elevator is neat but it's useless because you still need the X-ray visor to get to the elevator, and all you need to get the missile after that is a beam weapon. And there is no need to access the second floor of Aurora Chamber.
The video to which AJAX is referring:

And there's a reply video too:

Being able to use spiderball there is a glitch in itself (I wonder what we could do...).  Note that both people have HD displays.  The lightshow goes away when morphed (in Prime/Echoes once you had it it never went away until a cutscene or some such thing).  It's weird that entering the ship doesn't get rid of it.  Most weird of all is that at times it only affects the bottom half of the screen.  Is the game tiled on HD displays?

@Master ZED (and those who care):
Wrong roomed stickyness is gone.  I'll check that to be sure with a SW.  The minimap is useless for showing room membership, but scan visor works nice.  If you try a wrong-roomed morph near a door frame you can still teleport to the middle of that frame.  So morph SWs probably still exist. Using scan visor etc stops as you change rooms, so no "Where's the Room?" glitches from that.  Similarly, the space over doors is angled (or has something overhead), so no low SJs to get WtR?'s.  I didn't put too much time into testing everything, so there may be things yet.
If you use a SW to get into a room but you aren't technically in it (the map says you're in another room) then go up to a closed door (this has worked for me with the door the game says you're in) and morph, you can stick to the door. Maybe that'll lead to IS? Morph ball bombs open the door, though, so don't use them.

@rjkovach: The spinners are not active only when he is dying (and up to the gold token).  Perhaps you hit a glitch.  You normally can proceed (and even skip him entirely).

That might be why.  I was replaying a completed save file, so no gold token.  Unfortunately, I made the mistake of saving afterwards, so I think my file is borked at this point.  :(

On a related note, does anyone know of a way to restart without losing completion data?
Every Bit Counts
I found one. In docking bay 5, you can spring ball on to a troopers head. i found it out when messing around with th spring ball. I was trying to lay a bomb over the troopers head and get hit with it when I was on top of the trooper.

Here's an odd one--the little databot things on the Valhalla that tell you Cell locations.

They don't hurt you.  You can walk into them, jump on them, stand by them, and such, no problem.

Morph and roll or jump into one, however, and you'll take damage.

WTF? >_>

Copy the almost completed file to another slot before finishing.

Huh?  If you couldn't get out, how did you save?  I ment that the spinners don't work up to when the gold token would appear (if it does or not).  You can do the trick again, or go the normal way.  You shouldn't be permanently stuck.

More wrong-roomness testing: Sticking against a wall or container occurs, but no free spinning (so no IS).  If you can spin while boosting, the boosts don't accumulate (so no IB).  As always, further testing in other rooms is warrented.  Also, elevators work, and you can jump in them in this case!
at GFS Valhalla, right at the landing site, I popped in the first Energy Cell and swung with grapple across the pit in the next room.  I placed my hand on the panel to open the next room, but once the door opened, I swung back across the pit and back to the landing site to pick up the energy cell there.  When I came back to cross the pit and advance in that direction again, I could not interact with the panel by placing my hand on it, the "press A button" message did not appear when I stood in front of it, and the door was impossible to open.  I had to reset the game in order to advance.

What about entering your ship and leaving it? Doesn't that reset rooms?

The shutters were open, so the Berserker Lord fell through into Turbine Chamber, where I fought him.  After finishing him off, I left to heal up (was doing a low%, so only 1 energy tank), and so I made my way back to my ship and saved.  When I came back, I used the trick in Turbine Chamber again to climb into the room above.  The shutters were still open, but I couldn't use the spinners and the door was blocked by the forcefield.  I tried making my way around via the normal path, but the room was in the same condition.  At this point, I'm thinking it was a completely random glitch.

Hmm, do we have a gamebreaker here? That really sucks, considering you can lose 3-4 playthroughs worth of accomplishments.
At the main docking bay on Elysia. If you go to the part where you're supposed to use the hyper ball to destroy the blue phazon things on the statue before you've already done it, you can push yourself into the corner where the blue wall and main wall meet and infinitely bomb jump.
I couldn't find any way to fix it and move on, so I erased and restarted, losing my accomplishments from my first playthrough.  I could try to recreate it on my next time through, since I'd have nothing to lose.  So yes, it did end up being a gamebreaker, but I'm not sure what the exact conditions for it were, or if it was just a random fluke.
"Pirate trooper glitch" explained by spunit262 in the comment on youtube.  It makes sense.  I'm on my 1st playthrough, so I had no clue that the enemy was on a script.  Here's what he said...

"That pirate is on a script, he's the one that runs away when you come up the elevator.
script = no AI"

So, I guess since I used bsj to get to the 2nd floor, this screwed up the trigger for the script for the enemy to run away.  Ok, now that I know that, this still doesn't explain the Rundas glitch where he just sits there since Rundas has AI and no script...
lvl 28 Magic Leper
On the GFS Olympus during the scene where Ghor is undergoing the bioscan I decided I was too bored to wait for him to stop hogging the chamber. So I went right up to the "glass" door and decided to morph ball and try to worm my way in there. The second I morphed the trooper told ghor he was clear to continue and the game froze before the morphing animation even started.

I highly doubt it's repeatable and I never tried a second time.
If you are in a "slide" state when you fall off of an area in Elysia. If you press nothing when you respawn you will slowly keep sliding forward.

EDIT:Actually it turns out you don't have to fall to your death. Just even landing on the ground after sliding makes you continue to slide.
*manly poses*
I don't think anyone posted it, but Ghor will sometimes get stuck in a wall your battle with him. It doesn't really help that much, but it's fun to watch.

Just realized this.

So you can't bomb-jump off one and get into SW's. Damn you, Retro!
Screw Attack glitch
No music
Oh yes, that reminds me... I had some music trouble sometimes in this game, specifically the darker fuel gel side of Bryyo. It would just randomly start skipping and jumping backwards as if its buffer system had crapped out. Waiting a while or going somewhere with different music always seemed to fix it. Anyone else get that?
Small black graphical glitch in Maintenance Shaft CC

I managed to use a damage boost/ghetto jump from one of those barbarians when they used a whip attack on me.  Usingthe speed of the push, plus a slope, I managed to get to the upper ledge in Fire Bryyo by the set of grapple hooks.  there is a large pipe you break apart with the grapple lasso to create a shortcut.  well its a great shortcut, but useless since that damn door needs ice missiles =(
It would be useful the second time through though, unless someone finds a way across a long pit and through an ice missile door to get ship missiles before ice missiles...

Or am I forgetting an awesome speed trick in that area the second time through? <_<
I'll post he link here too, since the whole point of it was to get through the door and get early ice missile and skipping the entire purpose of the game, couruption, that and I also mentioned it here first:

*edit*  I just realized I should have just edited my last post, sorry abot that =(

*Edit#2*  I just found the weirdest and most useless glitch ever!  to reproduce, land your ship, get back in and save..... then go get damaged until you have like, 50-20 energy  go back to your ship, and select ENTER SHIP, once inside you have been refilled, exit the ship.  how go back and get killed.  you'll restart from your save file, but with whatever HP you had when you went to the ship the second time, you won't be refilled!
