GFS Olympus - Survive level 3 turret

interesting little glitch: when you're in Hypermode, the game doesn't keep track of your energy properly and it's possible to get more energy than your energy tanks allow. When you go over the max the energy counter goes back down to 0 and continues counting up from there. When something happens that alters your energy (getting hit, collecting energy, using a grapple voltage terminal, etc.), the game realizes you have more energy than you should and resets it to the max.

Interesting.  I never noticed that.
Hmm, you can skip the second Seeker Missile lock door right after getting Seeker Missiles. Just jspaceump up into the morphball tunnel in the ceiling that you used to get there, and with a well timed instant morph you can get back inside. Doesn't save time however, it's sort of tricky to get too.
Audio glitch, ahoy!

The ambient Scan Visor noise completely stops after you scan something for the first time.
I was just practicing Phaaze for my run, and in Drop Shaft, I destroyed all the growths in the Phazon Hopper part of the room. The big plant in the middle exploded, but there was one Phazon Hopper left alive, clipped inside the floor next to the hole in the ground leading to the next level. :-s
Video? Or is it unreproducable so far?
nah, i wasn't recording at the time and starting to record there would've meant getting a disc, putting it in, waiting for it to load, then waiting for it to erase... not really sure how it could be reproduced either.

EDIT: wtf, just happened again... finished the Phazon Hopper part of Drop Shaft and dropped down to the Phazon Puffer part... and something was shooting at me. I unmorphed to find out what and found there was a Phazon Hopper inside the ceiling shooting at me.
- Enter your ship, and immediately point the Wiimote at the upper left corner while constantly mashing A, so you "select" the Mii Bobblehead as soon as loading finishes. Samus's left hand will come up. Now point the cursor at the flight control panel and select it. Another left hand comes up. >_>

- While fighting the PH Metroid Hatcher, a Phazon Metroid latched onto me. I can't remember exactly what I did, but it's either entering or leaving Hyper Mode in Morph Ball form, while holding A. Basically I was just trying to get the Metroid off of me, but then I started hovering in mid-air, only to slowly start floating upwards shortly thereafter. Maybe it's an intended thing for the Metroid to do, but I never encountered this before. Looked pretty buggy, too. A bomb cancelled it.

I'm playing the PAL version, btw.
The second one's not a glitch, Metroids always do that when they grab you.
Possibly the fastest way to get 1000 kills.  Useless of course.  This is right after Helios.

Ah, okay then. Never happened to me before. Seems weird to make them lift you up while desperately trying to prevent SBing everywhere else.
Crazy camera.

Once again charged Hyper Beam destroys something it shouldn't be able to, this time a grapple door. I also am testing out my brother's camera with much better quality, so it won't make your eyes bleed.
Heh, nice. I like how the grapple lasso symbol is still there even after the grate is taken out.

Even if this only saves one second (like you said on your youtube comment), then this is not useless.  This would actually be a small speed trick.  Nice find.
1. Hall of the Golems.  There is a very small section of the spider ball track where you can get behind the track and still latch on.  You can't move though while latching on from behind.

2. Hall of the Golems.  At the point on the spider ball track closest to Burrow, if you start going back the way you came for a few seconds then turn around and head back toward the missle expansion, the camera will be messed up and won't correct itself until you get further along the track.

3. Command courtyard.  This happened to me about a month ago and I can't replicate it for some reason.  I did a pointless bsj (I have no idea why) to skip the grab ledge by the morph ball tunnel.  When I went into the morph ball tunnel, the camera remained still and I couldn't see where I was going.  When I got close to the missle expansion inside the tunnel, the camera finally corrected itself.

4. Hoverplat Docking Site.  Another one I can't replicate.  When I was testing out how fast I could get the ship missle expansion, I screwed up and fell off the track.  The camera remained still and centered on a random section of the platform where the beginning of the spider ball track is.  When I went back up the spider ball track, I only saw the platform.

5.  Scrapyard.  When I was going to get the ship missle expansion in the tunnel, the circular blockade in the tunnel that normally opens once the room has loaded never opened.  I reset the game, did the exact same thing, and it was fine.

6.  After Gandrayda.  If you go into hypermode and go down the elevator, the hypermode noise will glitch up a bit and you will still hear it a couple of times during the cutscene when going down the elevator.

7.  I think I've mentioned this before.  If you put on any visor just immediately before a cutscene and time it just right, you will hear the visor noise throughout the cutscene.

8.  Possible invisible enemy glitch in GFS Valhalla?  I'm having a hard time replicating this one as well.  This happened to me about 6 weeks ago.  Near the hand scanner (the one that is occassionally unusable due to a glitch), I kept getting hit by an invisible enemy or something.  I killed every enemy in that room too...
Delayed WTR glitch - Landing Site Charlie

EDIT: Samus' ship temporarily won't land glitch.  This is caused by the delayed WTR glitch.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Triple posting ftw, eh?  :|

In the Xenoresearch Lab on the G.F.S. Olympus, when you have all those crawlmines after you, you can roll into the space below you and lay bombs from down there to kill them without taking damage and get some quick Friend Vouchers. If you springball and lay the bombs in the air, you can take out 5+ at once.

Edit: I just checked my stats after doing that, and I have 549 kills already. I haven't even left the Olympus yet.

Yeah.  Sorry about that.  I should've just added edits to my 1st post.

EDIT: Cutscene audio after death.

you can just copy the contents of the last post then delete it and write a new message, starting first by pasting the contents of the post you just deleted then adding in the new message.

Apparently, the security turrets on the Olympus have the ability to damage the Marines, but I don't think it's possible to kill them. Also, level 3 turrets go through Marines, so that doesn't work, either. Perhaps if you do it on Easy, Marines will have less health (like other enemies)...?
If this has already been found, ignore this post. Otherwise, I have probably found the most useless early Energy Tank ever. A more or less simple BSJ in Gateway is all that is needed.

Sorry for the missing sound in the video, but I'm missing some connectors.
yeah, I posted that a while back.  god find though!
Meh, I spent 20 minutes trying to replicate a glitch I had, but no success. Here are the attempts at it anyway.

And something else that was really weird. For a moment there I thought it was gonna prevent me from advancing in that room.
