Just caught up after neglecting to watch since the start of the season, my thoughts:
Actually, tbob's most recent post pretty much sums up the overall political arc right now.
But I'm really invested in Korra's own character arc too. She's always been the most resistant to meaningful character development but what she's going through now looks like it will stick with her. The plot inertia is nice, especially in a show where the seasons are such neat little packages. Provided she's not moping around for half of Book 4 (because a good character overcomes challenges rather than angsting eternally), I'm liking how they're handling Korra after the battle with Zaheer. And hey, any excuse to bring back Toph.
Didn't expect the newest episode would be up so early.
Kinda like how they gave Tenzin's kids the spotlight in this one. Long overdue for a dose of character development, even if it's likely to be relatively brief in the grand scheme of things.
i thought that was a pretty boring ep overall with some weird voice acting, but i guess all korra seasons have a few like that (except maybe season 3). looking forward to next week.
Completely agree with you guys. Zhu Li's been one of our favorite side characters for a while now so it's great to see how much she rocked in this one. (Huh, always thought her name was Ju Li due to how Varrick says it.)
Poor Bolin though. Now that I think about it a bit, I feel like I can relate to him a lot in this one since I'd probably be the one trying to keep the peace and not realizing the 'harsh truths' that Kuvira mentioned until it was too late.
