EDIT: If height is your problem, try doing 2 space jumps

Can you really do that, or did you mean 1 Space Jump? :|
Is there any detailed help for Gandrayda (or however her name is spelled), particularly on hyper mode difficulty? The closest I can get is about 25% health left, but by the time I get to that point I typically have no energy tanks left to go to hyper mode to actually effectively combat her during hers. :/
I'm looking for a pickup at the alpha docking bay on Norion.  It shows as being quite a way behind the ship.  The last upgrade I got was the grapple energy transfer.  If I need another upgrade or there is a secret route like the icy bit on Bryyo then I don't want to know so don't tell me!  But if it's just behind the ship somewhere and I can get it with what I've got I'd appreciate the help!

You should be able to get there with what you have. Just explore a little. Wink
Cheers, I'll look again.  If I finally give up I'll ask again.

Also, I'm trying to freeze a Reptilicus so a boomerang smashes it to bits and I get a vouchers for it but they never freeze properly.  Do I need an upgrade or is it just timing?

Thanks Prime Hunter. It was the Disaster at Elysia one, though I think the wiki could be better organized so it shows in the same order as in the game. The alphabetical order is nice, but for people who are looking for something they don't know the name of, it might be better to put it in chronological/discovery order. And the creature scans are in alphabetical order, but separated by location instead of origin. I would like to work on the wiki, but it won't take me to the create account page right now, so that's why I'm posting here. Anyone know if wiki accounts are not allowed to be created now or is the page just bad?

EDIT: I found the wiki thread and sent my pm to nate so disregard that last part, but what do you think about the ordered listing?

Huh, I thought the Lore Scans were in the game's order... that's how the guidebook I have listed them so I assumed it was the same way ingame. And by origin you mean which of the creature categories they are correct? (Fed, Bryyo, Elysia, Pirate, and Phazon) Because I organized them by area since that's how the book game them to me, and the locations are supposed to be where you first run across them in the game. But it would probably be better to put them into their respective catefories instead.
If the enemy doesn't freeze over completely and just slows down, then try hitting it with a charged shot or two before shooting it with an ice missile.

Well I meant 1 space jump.. 2 jumps :P
Hmmm... I have tied knackering it but I'll keep trying.  If you're 100% sure it can be frozen properly.

Yeah, I just asked as I was in the middle of looking then the power cut.  Once I'd grabbed some food it was back up so I plopped on here whilst I munched.

So anyway, I found it with relative ease ion the end, but cheers. :)
During the "protect the spire" part on Elysia, does anyone know if it's possible to destroy the first attack skiff (or whatever it's called) before it gets a shot off?  I was thinking that getting through that part without damage to the spire might be the last gold token missing on the wiki, but so far, I haven't been able to prevent the first ship from firing once.  The second and third can both be killed before firing, but I haven't yet managed to kill the first before it fires.  This is on normal, BTW.

hm i can't get an energy cell in the room with the golem and the half pipe in bryyo. i can see it but the structure's scan says that it doesn't have power or something and i can't find a hole or standable object to reach it...

You need a ship upgrade in Elysia.  If you don't have it yet then you can't get it.  What the upgrade is and how to get it is in the spoiler below.

The upgrade is a ship grapple beam.  You have to go to the North Jungle Court on Bryyo and use the ship grapple beam to lift a big battery, and then drop in the location you said.  It'll power up the machine which will allow access.
But before you can do that:

I can't rememeber the room's name, but it's the one with the two Spinner devices on each end and the Wall Jumps that move back and forth in the center. You need to come into that room from both ends in order to setup the spinners and allow you to get through there. The only reason you need this is because you need to travel on foot from North Jungle Court to Hidden Court, or else your ship will put the battery back as you call it to try and fly from Jungle to Cliffside.
blueglass: I've tried the same thing many times and had the same problem. It seems like the first skiff has much more health or is programmed to not die until it shoots.

I don't think you'd get a gold credit though, cuz I already have them all. You might get a friend voucher.. I was wondering about that myself because I have 21 or 22 vouchers, more than is needed to unlock everything and was unsure how many vouchers are actually in the game (might as well try to get them all for fun).

Well,
you need to set up the side furthest from the Jungle Court area first and then just carry on as normal to open up the Jungle side as you go.

Well where is the last one, then?  The wiki lists 53, but unlocking everything requires 54.

EDIT: Never mind.  I miscounted.  Unlocking everything requires 52.

Honestly, don't go into hypermode with gandrayda unless you want to near the end of the fight.

But Ugh. i need help not commiting suicide now. i just got nova beam and i was leaving the mining station whe all of a sudden i get a phazon overload right when i screw attack (I didnt think that was possible) and in my confusion i screwed the wall and died then i went back to the platfrom and started shooting to get rid of phazon and i got corrupted. ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I don't think i have ever screamed: What the FUCK!?!?! so loud in my life. I now have to do that asspain boss battle again. Only time in MP3 i died.

Yeah ... this topic is marked spoilers. I'd actually rather people not use tags in this topic-- it just makes it harder to read for people in need of or giving help.

Well, that's good to know. I got good advice in the speed tricks topic; the screw attack is devastating against her.
Yeah, I just pummelled her and dodged.  It's a long fight but just hammer away and avoid.  Missiles often come in handy between shots I find.  RE screw attack I'll have to try that...

Anyway, anyone know how to get past that spiky phazon blob after lowering the shields on Pirate Homeworld?  It says phazon should do the job but the hyper beam, hyper missiles and hyper ball give me nothing.

If there's an as-yet unobtained item don't tell me what it is though; just let me find it myself.  However I'm guessing that's not the case.
Anywhere, everywhere
That is the case, actually.

I'd just suggest putting two sections, one with each order depending on what people are looking for. The discovery order for people who are using it as a walkthrough and a category order like you said (Fed, Bryyo, Elysia, Pirate, and Phazon), each in abc order for people who want to find where the ones they missed are.

edit: Oh and the Lore scans were not in logbook order either. It's hard to explain, but for example Disaster at Elysia (Command Courtyard) is near the middle of the wiki listing because Command Courtyard is one of the first rooms you encounter, but second to last in the log book because you have to go through acid rain to get to that part of the room. That's my theory on the order anyway.

OK cheers, I'll just take the long way to get to Admiral Dane when I switch back on.
