You use it to get the energy cell from Bryyo. I forget what room exactly you put it in, sorry, but I think it's the room with the golem (it disappears after you solve the puzzle) a couple rooms away from the Federation landing site that had four vines attached to it. (room before Ruined Shrine; sorry if I'm wrong)
The generator goes up high in Hidden Court (Same room with the golem that's tied up in four places when you first enter it.)

At the part where he's spinning around, try screw attacking him ^_^

I think I tried to screw attack it once, but I couldn't reach it. What are the chances of me reaching AU 313 anyways? I don't want to waste my time finding out... I don't want to spend two more hours... I just want Hypermode over with.........

I would still like to know because I am just about to fight him. If it works then I'll come back and go ZOMG.

EDIT: I BEAT IT!!! However, I did not use the Screw Attack; it couldn't reach it. :( I feel lied to. haha But still, I never got hurt by the lasers and everything was so surreal! I feel so satisfied that I have beaten Hypermode (and that I have the ability to never play it again! :D). Thanks for all the help, guys.
From what I can tell, he was telling you to try screw attacking AU313's head when it's spinning on the ground, not during the quad laser attack. Though from what I hear, the screw attack isn't really effective in hypermode, at least for that part...
Oh, I see, my apologies for the misleading information, I didn't mean to be so ambiguous ^_^;
Is there any trick to destroying the seeker targets on Elysia's seed? >_<
red chamber dream
Seeker Missiles are poorly programmed-- just keep trying. Once I lock on to all four (or five, in some cases) targets, I always aim the Arm Cannon toward to middle of the array, and that usually works.
The other thing besides what ark said that I do is to back up as far as possible, in the hope that this gives them more distance to spread out in ^_^
I'm trying to find a Ship Missile expansion, it's the only item I need to get 100%! I found the place in Skytown that reveals item locations for you but there's no solid dot left in any of the maps. That would mean it's left in the Valhalla, right? But I searched through the entire place, and unless there's something I'm missing it's not there!

Where can I find this pesky Ship Missile expansion?
Have you been to the Xenoresearch Lab (looks like the place where you fought the pirates for the energy cell on the Olympus) and used the two energy cells? If so, then just go into the morph ball tunnel opened there.
Yup! I got the Ship Missile there :^D Still missing one...
That's the only ship missile expansion on the Valhalla. Are you certain it's a Ship Missile you need and not a regular missile? The maximum on the latter is 255... >_>

EDIT: Did you get the ship missile expansion in Ice Bryyo?
Well I got max energy tanks, and 255 missiles that means the only expansion left HAS to be a ship missile.

In Ice Bryyo? I'll have to double check there...
Go into command visor mode and it will tell you how many ship missiles you have.

Can't tell you what the max is ATM though...
It's cool, I found the item in Ice Bryyo! :^D Thanks a bunch guys!
Yeah I ended p going there to get an energy tank on my first runthrough.

Damned map system won't let you look at anywhere unless you're actually there or can land there if not, which takes Ice Bryyo out of the equation.
So, I pwned her on Hyper difficulty today but it really did p1ss me off.

It's basically just a question of dodging her attacks and hammering A - maybe I should sue Nintendo for carpel tunnel syndrome.

Anyway, I'm wondering what other people did to defeat her on the hardest setting? Did you also just hammer A with the occasional charged shot or did you make use of hypermode?

I found that due to how dodgy she is that hyper mode wasn't worth it, and screw attacks did nothing (on Ghor at least - everything else was too fast) on Hyper too.

Edit the topic title. Saying you battle Gandrayda is HUGE spoilers.

Note: This post was made before the topic was merged with the current one. Rolling Eyes
It's a bit difficult to choose something which accurately describes the situation without spoilers. Hope the above will do.

If so - anyone got any tips?
or take the easy way out and post where you're supposed to for this kind of thing.
I actually felt the subject was worth having its own topic.

Got to be the most troublesome boss.
Every Bit Counts
No. The most troublesome bosses are the final ones. The hardest IMO is DS. If you don't think they are hard do a low% or beat them on hyper mode (and you will be there).
So I've nearly completed Prime 3 (99% to be exact). Anyhow, after retrieving everything from the Valhalla, I noticed that on the map it shows what looks like a grapple voltage door on the landing platform. It appears on the right side on the map and it looks like it should be directly above where the fighter wrecked into the frigate. I've tried every weapon, every visor, and every ship function to get to this door. I don't know whether there is one more upgrade behind it or not. I checked a few different guides on the web but couldn't find anything specific enough to figure out if they were describing my problem exactly.

So, is that door accessible? If so how do I get to it?

If you're missing an upgrade, head to Ice Bryyo. That 'door' is nothing.
Oh boy, dunno if ANYONE will be able to help me on this one...

I'm trying to get all 100 pick ups before I go take on the last bosses again. My problem? I've got 99/100 and I can't find the last white circle on any of the planets! I don't remember unlocking a map to the G.F.S. Valhalla, so I can't check to see if its something missing from there.

Please, can anyone be of assistance to me? I just need to know if there IS a map that reveals all the add ons available on G.F.S. Valhalla or if I could have a list of spots where they are there so I can check. Really quite irritating.
