You can jump out at the right-hand end, right?

I tried that, but it didn't help. I have a smv of a place I'm stuck at.
Edit: Correction, there is no sand at the right end, so I was able to jump. However, the right end is not the way to exit.

EDIT: Sorry - assumed you'd done the other bosses too, in which case you'd be done. Embarassed

If you haven't, then you're stuck.  How on earth did you get there with so little?  Unless you were trying to, in which case it's your fault, and Tyjet needn't fix it. Razz  Low percentage is never good on a first run, because of such problems.

I got there by shinespark. To get there, I have to time it right.

And also, ridley was my first boss.

Edit: I have uploaded an another smv to show how I got in.
Mmm, given the ease with which you can get into Maridia without the gravity suit, I think that's worth fixing. All it'd take would be adding some more tiles to stand on so you can climb out of that pit, anyway.

V1.7 is out!

Changes:
-Fixed
-Also fixed the room to the right of it.

Ok, what about early maridia sequence break without gravity suit? Also, once you got in, you can't get out without super short charge in other room.

Edit: I have backed up save state, so I'm not truly stuck. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.

Edit2:I finished it at 1:06 and the item collection is 52%. I liked the new design, and it was fun to play with. The only thing I wish you could do is
to give extra time at the escape scene. I don't think 2 minutes is enough to collect all the items before time runs out.

Well, the only items you need to collect during the escape are:
Powerbombs at the top of the tall room - required
Missiles hidden in the floor - required
Missiles that the chozo is holding - optional

If you are talking about the missile tank in the water room and the powerbomb in the room before that one, you can get both of those before the escape sequence.
For what it's worth, I think you have about half a minute of leeway on the escape sequence if you don't dilly-dally, which should be plenty to grab the extra items if you're reasonably efficient about it.

That's what I was thinking too. I first had it set to 3:00, but even with 2:00 I don't have any troubles at all, and I consider myself an average player (at least around here.)
Two minutes doesn't leave a ton of margin for error or mistakes, but it's also not ridiculously difficult.  The first time I wasn't very clean but still had over 5 seconds to spare.  I'd say I made about 15 seconds worth of correctible mistakes, if not 20.
GREAT game

'nuff said
I got stuck here:

by standing just to the left of the statue, morphing, and then going left. I got zipped through the platform and then couldn't move any more.

I'll fix it in the next patch.

From the moment I got varia I believed I had several options. I really like how that was engineered into it.
Well done and thanks for taking the time to make it :)

These things have been discussed before, and this may sound harsh, but if you're looking for sequence breaks, don't be too surprised if you get stuck. aiwebs_002

That's why if I ever make another hack I will search long and hard (no pun intended) for sequence breaks.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
You could also consider beta testers.  It's a fairly popular idea, and the testers will probably find it easier to look for non-intended routes and such.
What'd you say?
Good idea and perhaps I should use people who were good at this hack.  Wink

But that's no fun in itself.  Rolling Eyes

I'm wondering if I should try once again to speedrun this hack.

It can't hurt.  I'm running it again, as I'm really looking for the :30.  I reckon if I improve the boss fights, and cut out about 25% of the missed jumps and other errors, I'll get it.
What'd you say?
Good luck, think you can beat first place?

Possibly, but remember that mine's 100%, and the others aren't.  I have never really tried low% or any% runs, even with the original game.  Maybe I'll give it a go. Very Happy
