I've had the same problem as you before. Go try and Quickmet your Landing Site room. IF it won't load, that could also be your problem. Sometimes SMILE did something to that room and since it's where you're starting, it'll just hang at a black screen after the map with music playing....

...Or it also sounds like what can happen if you patched your rom with a patch that did/didn't have a header while your rom didn't/did. So that can be a possibility to. But I'm just going to say it's probably your Landing Site....Maybe.

~~Well, I can play my rom perfectly in Quickmet, but it just wont load, using the same emulator..~~

I don't understand what happened but the rom worked! I'll beta test this and see if I can get this released ASAP! Sorry for the delays everyone! Wink

UPDATE:
I found an idea that will require you to kill: Ridley, Phantoon, Draygon and Spore Spawn to access Tourain. I'm going over a few more areas, adding a couple rooms, I still need to add about 25 items (main page item count is no longer accurate.) Beta testing still.

i seem to be stuck, I just beat phantoon and the grey door in the previous room didn't unlock. I never found Kraid near hi jump, heard his music and found minikraid. But yeah i can't seem to find a way out of phantoon's area, his room and the room before his.

also, i fell out of bounds after beating crocomire, i ran and jump and then fell under and cant get back out. Was this intended?

just beat botwoon/golden torizo. Any chance of getting plasma be4 golden torizo? haven't found it yet so jw for a TAS. I got SJ, was that all to be gotten down there?

Yes LN/east norfair is where gold torizo is. You didn't skip Ridley.

Look in a room with a chozo statue and an e-tank.

I'm very much enjoying how you hid items, though. They've all been well placed in ways that make sense (well, areas that follow along with "Metroid intuition").
