I was a for real expecting some kind of account system announcement during E3. I thought that's what shutting down Club Nintendo was all about.

Come to think of it, there's been zero word on any kind of CN replacement.

While the physical rewards were mostly crap, they did offer VC games and eshop titles, which was pretty good. Plus the gold nunchuk to match the gold Skyward Sword wiimote. <3

I'm looking forward to that. Wondering if they're going to respond to the backlash the game has been getting...

They're definitely aware of it but the chances they'll respond to it on the treehouse stream are about zero. Expect them to just be talking about how super fun the game is.
