does it have a naturally high sp def?
You passed me Ark. I'm running around doing a bunch of Team Flare stuff but it sounds like I might be close to my encounter with Yveltal soon too if I understand the story right. That move sounds pretty awesome though, especially coming off of a legendary.

Turns out I was about 30 minutes from catching mine. Took me 5 or so Dusk Balls. Also managed to knock it out on my first attempt but the game let me have a second take right after so you're pretty much forced to catch it right there like with Reshiram/Zekrom.

My Yveltal's Bashful and his stats seem pretty balanced overall. Seems like HP is pretty high, Attack and Sp Attack are the same, and Def, Sp Def, and Speed are the same but quite a bit lower.

well it's a legendary, so it has high everything

but atk and spatk are its main stats

ok, that's what i meant
in those cases i usually go for a atk or spatk boosting nature
Almost at the Pokemon League. Think I'll finish the main game in a few hours from now.
What'd you say?
How was the Elite 4?
Easy as hell, tbh.
What'd you say?
Sad...
It's a Pokemon game, dude. Difficulty shouldn't matter.
I mean, I dunno. Maybe I just had a really good party.
What'd you say?
No, but even a moderate sense of challenge would nice. I mean, it's the elite 4, four of the most elite trainers of all-time.
I'm climbing Victory Road right now too and my team is already hitting level 70. I have a feeling I'm going to steamroll them because of that although the wild Pokemon and trainers are catching up to me pretty quickly so I might be in for a surprise.
You're WAY overleved, dude.
I beat the champion with my Pokemon's levels ranging from 61 to 62.

yeah ... no shit. i said i hope he doesn't have a bad nature (like -atk or -spatk), but i was fine with settling for
anything else. you'd have to sit through a lot of bullshit if you're going to reset for yveltal's nature anyway.

i think it should. really fucking tired of easy battles against trainers with one or two pokes. i'm almost at the 8th gym, and i've only fought one trainer with 6 pokes, and they were all magikarps. pokemon would be a lot more fun if the battling weren't boring as hell.

It's a kid's game. They aren't gonna make it any harder. Besides, there's already an RPG series based around collecting monsters that's known for its difficulty and is even older than Pokemon. I'll let you guess what it is.

i realize all that. doesn't mean i still don't wish they'd make it more challenging.
Oh well. How far into the are you atm?

Oh I know. Never had to grind at all because of how overpowered the EXP Share is in this game, plus my team has been together since before the second gym so I haven't had to play catch up with anyone either.

But that's why I loved having challenge mode in BW2. Give the opponents a few more levels and switch up their teams a little while giving them some more competent AI. You'd have a great mode for veterans like us if they pulled it off well.

yeah i turned off exp share after the seventh gym because the game was just becoming boring. using a single move to knock out every enemy poke isn't fun. for the e4 i'm definitely switching the battle style to set rather than shift too.

haven't played yet today, about to do the eighth gym
Finished the Elite Four. Interesting combo of types, but other than a few here and there none of the Pokemon gave me too much trouble save for the champion's final one.
That Mega Gardevoir completely came out of left field and proceeded to brutally destroy about 1/2 my team due to my typing. I had expected a Mega to be involved somewhere but given that it received Fairy type already I wasn't sure it would get a Mega on top of that too. Happy that it did though since Gardevoir's one of my favorites.
Next time I play I'll have to get my friend code up here for you guys. Ran into something I want to check out in the post game that requires them.
Okay, so here's my friend code: 4355 - 9396 - 3745

So I read up on the Friend Safari and it sounds like it will be awesome and quite beneficial for us in the long run. From my understanding, the way it works is each of us is a designated as a type based on our FC and anyone who is friends with us can catch Pokemon of that type in the safari. Pokemon have two IVs locked at 31 and can have their hidden abilities from the looks of things. Plus they can be ones that are exclusive to the other version or aren't normally found in XY. (Kanto and Kalos 2nd stage starters included.)

last night i hanged out with some freinds who already own the game. the "meet invisible people via internet" feature is pretty cool. it'd be neat if they expanded on that and turned the next entry it into an instanced online game where you can actually see other people running around
