ILS Any% Segmented Run (5/12 segments done)

Definitely split it. I think that the impossible-to-avoid small mistakes would add up even if the mega segment were completed, and splitting it would save sanity and keep some of the small mistakes from happening.

yeah, split it. if you really want to combine ridiculous things together to save time, might as well make it a SS run since you lose some seconds with every save.
segmented has its downs like this but also has the ups of very high optimization.

(btw, do you still stream at usteam?)

I feel like if you have the perfectionist streak necessary to be a speed runner, if you dont split it it's gonna haunt you. I say don't split it. So what if it takes a few months to bang out the segment. When its done there'll be no doubt left in your mind.

Took long enough. >_> So glad I decided to split it, this half alone was ridiculously difficult.

Also, the file time is at :13. In the 1:01, the time was at :14 before SA. Yeah...

Who knows? I sure as hell wouldn't have gotten a segment as good as that one without the split.

i partly missed the segment but was there to see the replay live heh.

this run is shaping to be unreal. there's so many little things in each segment that it would be easy to choke (the robot jumps had me on the edge)

lol, the jump between robots is actually really easy. >_> Which was the reason I found and did it, I needed an easier alternative to dashing from the first robot...
