+1 in annoying tricks for the run.

it looks like this will never be beaten when it is finished.

Hey Miles ever try starting the cutscene at the end of segment 5 before saving? it ends with you facing the door and most likely saves more time in segment 6 then it loses in segment 5, Idk about loading time tho..

...I can't see how going all the way over to the door then back to the save station would be faster than going straight to the save station then just turning around.

No, I remembered that getting Emerald screws you out doing the pirate fight (and thus getting Supers or going to Lower Torvus).

Though with this new strat, I kind of think it would've been slower anyway.

ok I have a funny idea 'cuz I'm drunk:

I have to admit when I first watched this in your previous runs I thought you just made a mistake (lazy to press forward) by waiting to get SA. Hehe.. yaya.. now I know you are waiting for the beam shot to hit the door so it can load. Here's where alcohol comes into play (yes when I'm drunk I'm watching MP speedruns...! I always considered drinking and watching your runs is the same thing anyway as they both cuase... serious braindamage xD).
So here's the thing: A speedtrick by me if it gets confirmed yay :D
Can you not get rid of waiting by just having lightbeam and shooting light? It instahits the door with he light of speed. :D So you can just go ahead and get SA..
I hope you brought enough ammo... you really should redo segment 4 because of this :D
