I don't know if there's going to be any voice acting, really. We just kinda did this 'cause we were bored. I put it up here to see what people think. If it's something everyone likes though, I have no problem doing it. I'd ask Ummeiko or Scarlet first to do a voice for Samus though, as I'd like to retain what dignity I have and not ask one of my female friends IRL to do the voice. That, and I don't think any of them have a fitting voice for Samus either.

And hey, for the movie... It's not like she'd have anyone to talk to very much anyways. It's metroid, after all.

What if Samus's voice was just represented by transmission static, and/or some really indistinct voice, like the adults in the Charlie Brown animations?

Probably because you're thirteen. Most guys' voices don't deepen much until long after that. I'm nearly sixteen, and my voice is sort of high.

I don't think I have ever heard a male imitation of a female voice that sounded the least bit real, singing excepted.  Going the other direction seems to be easier.

Yes, that's the most obvious example, though Nancy Cartwright originally auditioned for Lisa, I'm pretty sure.  Her autobiography mentions some amusing incidents where people who were trying to make themselves sound good would tell her they knew "the guy who does Bart Simpson's voice".  She doesn't bother correcting them, since she legally can't speak in his voice outside the studio and therefore can't prove them wrong; besides, they're clearly jerks.
