Not me.. I must be the special one out of the group.. there's humor in every fiber of every stitch.. Wait.. Ok back on topic.. HBA looks awesome!! I hope to try it out and look back on my years when I'm old and say.. "I remember when I was but your age, I was on the computer a lot.. Playing around on the internet, when I found Metroid2002 and instantly fell in love with it.. Then HBA came out.."

Hey houston how in hell do you make a comic like maru mari using the sprites (atlest i think you used sprites) (ye you did) But could you please tell me ho id like to try one myself! I probably wont post it anywhere just show my freinds and forget about it, but id still like to try!

I'm not Houston, but I can tell you the basics, because I'm doing a spritecomic myself.

You get the sprites, then you use something like Paint to create a base for your comic. Then you just copy the sprites you're going to use to it, maybe alter them a little (like adding a row of pixles to its mouth so it looks like it has opened it) and add text blocks.

There you have the main idea of it. Then it's just playing around until it gets like you want it.

EDIT: Ok ive waited patiently for 3 days now, doesnt anyone know where i can get any sprites? I want to try and make this comic!

I know you said to create a backround use something like paint, but in maru mari the backrounds are actual ones from the game, how is that done? Oh and sorry about the double post.

Get an emulator and the game you need.

Turn off the Sprite layer. (For ZNES its '5' I think. For VBA its 'Ctrl + 5')

Push "Print Screen". (For VBA you can use F12, it saves it as a picture automatically and you don't need to paste, save or anything. I don't know about ZNES.)

Paste the picture in MSPaint or whatever you use and ther you go.

Thanks, ill get to work as soon as i can, and if you where wondering its super metroid based so im using a ZNES emu, im still trying to complete the game!

EDIT: Nope i cant figure out how to print it(there is no print word anywhere) paste (cant find that either) or even save it in a folder or anything! Does anyone have a ZNES emu that can help me, yet again my comic plans have been set back!

Print Screen key is what your looking for to take the screen shot, the kwy says prt scr its right of the F keys. To paste just press ctrl+V in a paint program and you shoud be done.

No need for Print Screen, much easier to just use the ZSNES's screenshot function. Press F1 and there should be an option near the top of the menu.

Im not very good with computers, but i have figured out how to do the way where you print the whole screen, but im having trouble with it and it seems a little difficult. So i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use the snapshot one, with a little more detail. Any help please?

EDIT: No worry people, even with my lack of computer skills, i have figured it out. I have completed 2 pages , and by the way they are like maru mari, three sections to a page. I may copy a little off the overall idea here and there, but Im only goin to show it to my freinds so dont worry.

Once I tried to make a comic. But it wasn't very funny so I abandoned it. Perhaps I'll try again.
Anyway, Layering on the GBA on MZM/MF
0: Doesn't seem to do anything
1: Terrain
2: BG1
3: BG2
4: Sprites
5: Same as 0
6: Everything
7: Same as 0
1-4 are the useful ones.

Yeah, Im feeling i have a lack of humor to my comic :( and i cant figure out how to post it up so i cant get peoples oppinions ( dont worry i have asked elsewhere, and the problem im having is shrinking the filesize down to under 200,000 (bytes?) ) Maybe i will just abandon this one.......
