Well you can only get so much out of the Wii in the first place too. I think it looks fine for what it is. Looks like it'll probably be better looking than Prime on a technical level.
Tell me you saw the Assembly Cut and thought it was better. Resurrection was just awful to the point when I'd rather watch Army of Darkness over it any day (it's the third installment in Evil Dead if you don't know).
I might have seen the Assembly Cut but I can't be sure. And I liked Resurrection. The movie over all was good, they should have just cut out that stupid pot-belly "human alien". The movie would have been amazing then. (watch Resurrection again and you'll see what I mean).
Also, whoever said "Anyone else liking the new voice the more we hear it?" I am.
Also, if you listen, they use a LOT of the Prime sound effects, such as Samus getting hit, and charging her beam.
really? it looks pretty crappy to me. it's a trailer of an unfinished game.
It's not that far from being done though. Sure, they might polish it a little bit more and add detail to some things (I really hope the arm cannon won't look like that in FP view), but overall I think it will look pretty much the same.
Okay, sure, Prime looked a lot better aesthetically. In game, anyway; there is no comparison with the cutscenes. But so what? I guess you're not a Metroid fan if you can't find SOMETHING to complain about...

Since when do prerendered cutscenes matter for jack shit?
The SM end cutscene actually looks worse to me than any in game stuff so far. :/
Really? I thought it looked awesome.
Although I don't have any problems with any of the visuals really. Sure, it's not the same as the Prime games, but it still looks good enough for me. (That jungle/swamp environment half way through the trailer is what stands out the most for me though.) I have noticed some subtle improvements from the E3 trailer last year, like on the closeup of Samus where she's pointing the arm cannon at the screen. She looks more metallic there than she originally did, although the texture itself hasn't changed any.
As long as the visuals support the game environment I'll be happy. If the world feels alive and the atmosphere is there like Prime and Super managed to capture so well, that is all I'm really asking for I guess.

It's a bonus at the very least. With all the complaining about Other M's graphics, I thought it was only fair to point that out.
