the metroid is a lie !
so is double helix working properly without crashing now then?
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
The impression I got was that the source was released because it is no longer being worked on, so it's as stable / buggy as it was on last release.
the metroid is a lie !

I'm not on my Windows machine so I can't check this, but inter isn't the kind of guy to virus up another dude.

...Well, maybe he is, but in this case I doubt that's the case.
Yo.

lol. 54747908563, you may want to tell Avast! about the fact that this file is a false-positive (i.e. it trips the alarm, but you KNOW it's not a virus.) Happens with plenty of files; this certainly isn't the first time it's happened with my antivirus software.
...
That same thing is happening to me with some of inter's DH releases.  Neither WinRAR, 7-Zip, or even plain old Explorer will open them, saying that the file is damaged or corrupted.
OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
It was probably a bad upload or something. I've had that problem when I uploaded songs for my band a while ago, but everytime someone downloaded them, they were corrupted or something, cause the mp3s didn't upload correctly.
I downloaded double helix anyway and it's actually very easy to use...
But I don't understand why sometimes double helix doesn't save the room correctly (some changes doesn't appear or there is something else)
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
It may be the case that you're not editing the correct state of the room.

An example: The room near the beginning of Fusion where you smash the vent to escape through the tunnel.  There are two versions of that room, and you'd have to edit both to actually see the changes properly in-game.
Address Mzm the speed of the enemy who knows more, how the speed of the operator address, I only know geemer speed: 01693a
zoomer speed: 016940 Shocked
My new question is; why double helix have started to crash when i save changes? aiwebs_016
grin new hi all, am decovering the double Helix , and i find it way great.
i started using the editor and i've been able to creat my own levels which was cool yet
i could not change the enemies position if somebody would mind answer my question or forward me to tutorial that explains the matter.  grin new
There is a check box is to edit the enemy, as long as the points can be moved on the enemy

I have the very same problem as you do. It almost looks like Double helix has a counter and if the counter exceeded it's limit, the Double helix will crash xD. Seriously though, I can't save any change I make.

Does anybody knows how to fix this?

If you want to test for yourself. Here is my hack.

Does anybody know the enemy number for SA-X and how to script locking/unlocking doors? I want to make a Fusion hack where the SA-X chases you through every room after seeing you, and have it in more places than before.

aiwebs_016Somethings wrong with the DH my sprites and clipdata wont appear on the main screen what could be wrong Question aiwebs_016
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
You'll need to be clearer on what the problem is if you want any help.

Do you mean they do not show in DH, or when you play the game?

Oh, and your avatar made me laugh: Viscous means something completely different to viscious.
This is Life
Yeah they won't show on DH
Hey!

I've recently started messing around in Double Helix, trying to get to grips with it and all. But there's something that I just can't get to work.

When I go into the Room options to change the size of the room, it doesn't work. Say, for example, that the room is '2A' in Width and I want to increase it by 5, I'd change it to 2F. but if I then click save to apply the changes and close the screen, DH seems to loose a lot of it's abilities. All of the Edit control grey out, as well as various other options, and if I click to edit the map, the Level Layer completely dissapears.
The same thing happens if I try to shrink the rooms, and it happens in both Fusion and Zero Mission roms.

Any help you can give me would be appriciated. And sorry if it's a stupid question, but I'm new to this.

Oh, I also have the latest version of DH, and both Fusion and Zero Mission roms are USA roms.

Oy
I like Big Butts and I can not lie
Mine just seems to crash when I increase the room width :-/
Having trouble with clip data. No matter what I choose on the list, it keeps changing things to the default, air for Fusion and block for Zero Mission.  aiwebs_016

Eck...it hasn't yet been over one month, I think...

I'm trying to hack Metroid Fusion, but for some reason, I can't even do so much as to add an expansion or change a block in the wall into something else. I've looked on what I'm doing wrong, but even if I follow how to do it properly, it doesn't work. I've tried various options on DH, but it still proves to be unsuccessful.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Once you've opened the ROM, you will have the main window, and the tile selection box.

To draw your room, you can select tiles from the tile selector, or copy tiles from the main screen, and just draw them elsewhere.
To edit the 2nd layer, you need to uncheck View Level Layer on the right, and check Edit Back Layer on the left.  You can then just edit as before.
Once the level has been drawn, then you should look at your Clipdata.  Check the Edit Clipdata box, and then select which Clipdata you wish to use in the box at the bottom.  The most common ones are Air and Block, but you'll also find the items in there, which you place on top of the item tiles to make them collectable.

For editing the doors, you should read the guide that comes with DH.

Good luck.
