My game is in the Samus Engine, I work now in the jump and after I finish the jump, I'll work on the Power Grip.

I was making a Hack of Super Metroid, but I stop this for continue my engine on Game Maker. Work on Game Maker consume many time, so I'll dedicate all of me to this work.

I'll create a Blog to show the Making Off. May be, after I finish the Engine of Samus....

Thats, a pretty nice. It actually feels  like a metroid game, which you really don't see very often.

I really think VR/"PLG" is going to wait a long time (has it even been a year yet since it allegedly went under/disappeared from the face of the Earth?) and spring it on everyone...  quietly.  But that's off-topic. Confused

As for AM2R - I'm glad to see it's still in development and has been evolving to what it has become today...  & I know it'll get better. Cool

That trailer made me a lot more interested in it. I run on a high standard modern PC and I recall I could not run the latest demo in full speed. So I hope that is being worked on.

There are mixed oppinions about the Zetas.
First of all, this is a Work In Progress sprite, and I decided to show it just for the NCFC. The animations are unfinished, and there are details to tweak about the overall apprearance.

Also on the video 2 parts of the new area are shown. One big ruin-like corridor and the water area (for Gravity Suit fun). I´m planning these areas right now.

I´ll be tweaking the Zetas these days, it was great to hear all of your concerns about the proportions. I´ll consider some of them, since having other points of view makes a better result.

Thanks for the post, I just played the earlier demo maybe two weeks ago and I was really impressed.
The demo is very good. I still have to find some very well hidden items there, but it's impressive in every aspect.

Anyways, this demo is a lot of fun, except for crocomire, that boss was a borefest.

^ This. But at least there WAS a crocomire. I enjoyed the concept at first, but he needed a bit more variety, and maybe less distance to cover.
I think part of the problem was that he did that stupid barfing move over and over again and almost never did the move where he charges at you making the fight take forever, also the fact that i didn't have a charge/wave/spazer beam made it so i couldn't hit him while he was barfing like in super metroid.

Hopefully in the next release the fight will be improved.
