Edit: Update.  I don't know why but I had music for the intro, the first stage (that's a first), and boss sound fx.  I'm not sure what is going on. :-?

Edit2: Might it be that I have a song paused that is allowing me to hear the music in this demo? Cause that's the only thing I can think of that is different and this time I'm able to finally hear ALL the music and sfx.  aiwebs_017

DEMO UPDATE
This update fixes some sprite glitches and adds some enemies to the game.

Fixed collision on spazer beam room (thanks emma)
Fixed sprite glitch (samus invisible sprites) (thanks lazure)
Added a lot more enemies, most for hard mode
Fixed Kraid Spazer exlpoit (thanks playerman1230)
Fixed Kraid nail not being hit by pseudo-screwattack (thanks miles07)
Added Hornoad spit projectile
Changed some enemies behavior on hard mode
Fixed blocks with tiles becoming invisible when coming from map screen
Added alternative way to exit the game (Alt+F4)
Menu options can be selected with fire button too
Fixed opening missile hatch without missiles
Modified layout of the speed booster room.
Kraid platforms speed vaires depending on the difficulty
Added extra health for bosses in hard mode
Fixed intro effect happening when returning to the first room

Hard mode is now much more interesting to play, try it out.

Oh yeah I forgot, when I shine-sparked up to the sky in the ship site, did you just put a damage boundary just to stay in?

Edit: Normal 1.1 felt a bit easier, save for Kraid (Hi-Jump was my friend). Ridley was a cakewalk (you know how it feels when you chuck ~55 missiles at a boss in four sittings then he just dies. Maybe in Hard, I might have to chuck 80).

Man, I did all that work to get that hard mode 1/20 run, and you just obsolete it by making a new version? :'(

Seriously, though, 1.1 is much better. I noticed you took out my awesome strategy against Kraid, though that might just be with Spazer. I also noticed that the sound can get really glitchy after dieing, and that if you press Escape just as the item dialog is closing, the screen flashes black for a bit.

Also, I seem to have been able to make myself float somehow just after getting Jump Ball...

May I suggest...  For the jump-ball make it to where you can control the height your jump...?  :-?

Just tapping it and you go as high if you held the jump button.

I'm posting this a bit late but I seen there was another icon with a 11 at the end (for version 1.1).  Before I had a shortcut on the desktop and I was playing the older version of the new demo. 

So, now I see the difference. 

Here's my problem.  Whenever I crouch down -the bottom half of Samus disappears. 
Edit Oct. 18: And now the bottom half is back.  Truly truly weird.  (where is an emoticon that is pulling his hair out? :-p )

Also, the music still seems to be intermittent when I play the demo.  Sometimes it's there, other times it isn't.  I DO NOT understand why it does that.  Crying or Very sad

Excellent! :-D

There is only two minor things that annoyed me.

1. The health/missile refills were behind the walls. (so they were hard to see) They should float above the walls (as in out of the screen, not up in game.) so you can see them if they spawn in a wall. Like in super metroid.

2. When I lost one full e-tank of health the red squares didn't change. So it looked as if the e-tank you lost was full. (so 299 energy looked like 399)

other than that an excellent job! :P

I fail to understand how this has been misread.  I was always under the understanding that an emoticon was applied after a statement to imply the manner in which it was meant, since you can't normally do that in text.

Therefore, me saying that he is the only one who did it, and adding a lying emoticon afterwards would have automatically implied that I was lying, by suggesting that I had done it too.

Ah, never mind.  :(
