Well, you could always play against the computer ... or is that sort of fun stuff dead now?
That said, it wouldn't at all surprise me if it didn't have online multiplayer. It's supposed to put focus on social gaming, after all. Party gaming. And that always works much better offline.

Problem is that most bots are pretty stupid, once you figure them out.  It get's pointless after awhile.  Though they have been getting somewhat intelligent lately.

Well, it turns out that this game may not be a launch title after all. It's just a tiny portion of the podcast, but a rumor is a rumor. I personally hope it gets delayed. We don't want another Echoes style rush. Besides, Zelda TP and Red Steel could hold me for a couple of months. No need to rush a great game.

Cool. Would give me less to buy for the Wii and more money to put toward much-needed DS games.

would also let me enjoy TP properly since having two great games at the same time can be odd because each one interferes with itself.

also, all the times i've got 2 games at the same time, 1 of them suffers since it gets ignored due to the other one.

I wouldn't say one game suffers when I get two at the same time -- I just put one of them off completely until I'm done with the first. That happened fairly recently (well, almost a year ago) with Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, which I chose to play first; I saved Tales Of Symphonia for last, which I didn't touch at all until I was completely done with THAW. It'll be the same for TP/MP3. I'll definitely buy MP3 as soon as it's available (to get the best version) but won't touch it till I'm done with TP. Generally I like to save the best for last, but I've just been waiting too damn long for TP.
Getting this game with anything else appealing to me at launch.

Can't wait.
As im not going to be getting the wii for a while after launch, im not going to be getting corrupton for a little while. As soon as I get a wii though, im getting it with corruption.
aiwebs_016 Some members of this Metroid site, if they can call themselves one, have actually said they aren't gonna be getting Corruption???  Are you kidding me??  I'm bout to Wii my pants in anticipation!  I've had Prime 3 'bought' for 4 months now....well, actually I have 5 BS games I don't care about purchased since I can't preorder Nintendo's yet! lol

Corruption might suck.  People want to check before buying.

Yeah... We didnt take that precaution with Echoes, and we are the wiser for it. :P

Im getting Corruption and TP at launch either way though... those who dont get corruption at launch are missing out on the credit for the glitch findings.
Mister ...
Hmm, never thought of it that way.

Damn, now I just need to find $100 some where...
Except that if you are like me, you'll play through Corruption once or twice and then go through Twilight Princess once before coming back. I may be cutting myself out of the initial trick finding by doing this. (But, look how long it took us to discover some of the more advanced tricks in Echoes. Who knows?) Although, I plan on testing out some of our old tricks as soon as I get accustomed to the contols. Mainly the Scan Dash and some of the bomb jumping if I can. We can still scan in this game, so maybe somebody can figure out how to dash with it once again.

i think that the new controls will cause brand new techniques and glitches to emerge.  trying the weirdest stuff will be quite fun with the Wii controller.

You're expecting not to? That's sort of the point of the Wii.

i certainly hope that you speak of the truth.

I dont want my hands to be flying all over the place. I dont frankly care what i look like, its just that it would eventually get tiring.

the point of the Wii isnt to glitch its games, and doing a scan dash would probably require some ridiculous hand movement. the scan dash is a glitch, and therefore, the point of the Wii isnt to wave your hands around like a maniac ninja.

im fine with swinging my hands around to wield link's sword, but when it comes to doing a scan dash, i dont know. :P
Mister ...
The only real waving and such I want to do with the controller is to slash swords and point the arm canon.

Wouldn't the wire/cord/whatever break if you had 2 wii-motes connected and used as nun-chucks though?

A lot more so than the earlier generation controllers, yes. Swinging the controller like a sword in Zelda? Hitting an imaginary tennis ball? Swinging like a golf club?
everybody knows it's true

Not to the point of ninjas. The sensitivity can tone down the movement to the flick of a wrist.
Unless you (like me) want to wave it like a maniac ninja and feel the burn! Or if the game gets so intense that you just do wave it around like a maniac ninja....
