Playing through MP and missing 2 missile expansion and having no idea which ones they are...

Playing for a 100% scans file, and missing flaaghra tentacle and only just realising at OP, and then restart the run and get past Thardus to realise I forgot the ram wasps  Rolling Eyes

Getting a 22% run fully complete and having my memory card get messed from another game (SSX Tricky). I don't know how it happened, but it sucked.

Ouch, that's not cool: I've had similar problems with memory cards in the past, erasing many, MANY months of work from various things.

As for me, there was this one time in Prime where I had finally gotten past the room where you skip the spider ball on the way to Plasma without Grapple: I finally made it all of the way up to the edge where you have to ghetto jump onto the spiderball track.

Unfortunately, I slid off of the edge and fell ALL THE WAY DOWN into the lava, where I proceeded to get stuck and die on the STUPID puddle spore! (Not fun, especially after many attempts at the DBJ to get out of the lava in the spiderball track room (Can't remember it's name, obviously.)

Well, where I wanted to kick mysely was when for the first time I was playing Metroid Prime, I forgot to scan the Hive War Wasp, the Ram War wasp, and Flagghra's Tentacle.

I think Flaaghra's Tentacle was a far more evil scan than any other.

I know...it makes no sense to make an appendage of a boss count as a separate thing to scan. Got me the first time, too.

The scan wasn't even red, neither.  I don't see why everyone seemed to be specifically whining about the Ice Shreikbats when the Tentacle and the Hive Mecha (underwater?  wtf?) were much worse, if you ask me.

Thankfully, MP2 has undone the problem, since you scan the enire thing in it.

The last time I played MP, I was going to not miss any one-time scans, so that if I wanted to I could get 100% scans later.

Of course I forgot to scan the Parasite Queen...

Probably the moment I first beat mr. Prime himself. I was so excited to have finally beaten him (I'm not too great at his first form) I accidentally spilled a drink over my controller which never recovered from that silly mistake. Cost me a controller... ;)

In-game I would have to say SJ First in Metroid Prime is my greatest woe. Or rather, my ultimate nightmare. I suck so hard at it. Out of 100 attempts I maybe get 1 or 2... ;)
Part of the reason I quit trying to SB Metroid Prime. Just not good enough at it. I'll just stick to watching (/me notes subtitle of this board - we play; you watch).

I was playing metroid prime on hard going as fast as I could in the phazon mines. I got to the invisible droid like enemy, killed him, had 30 health left and hadn't saved for a long time I got the power bombs left the room but FORGOT to save(I had a driink of water in a medium sized plastic cup). So I went back...I had to fight the Ice beam troopers so I killed all of them but 1. Trying to freeze the last pirate with my ice beam I kept missing and was shot to death. I got so pissed I screamed out the "F" word for about 10 seconds then grabbed my empty glass of water with some ice in it and threw it  so hard I hit the edge of my bedroom sliding window(I had a blanket pinned up over the window so nobdy could look in on me when I was dressing. Just so you know my blinds were broken from age. Also when I threw the cup I for some reason thought the cup would bounce off the blanket.)....My friend was there and said "Dude! You broke the window!" and I was like "No ,I didn't! That was ice that shattered everywhere."  and then I looked at the window and saw it broken...I was like....oh sh*t...I've never gotten that mad before over a game :?

But when I died that was like the 5th time I had died like that. I was so sick of dieing. Finally I was a little more cautious ad got through it the 6th time. I missed some missile expansion and beat the game in 6:00 with a 92 percentage.

My new one would be trying to make it through Fusion at 1% and realizing I got a missile tank earlier than I should have. (I realized this after defeating Mega-X.)

Mine would be when I was playing Metroid 1 on MZM. I killed all the Zebetites but when I was at Mother Brain I had low health because I was being a bit careless. I then died after firing a few missles. Out of frusturation I forgot to save my password. I had nearly everthing, and the last time I died was early on in Norfair. I haven't ever beat Metroid 1 legimetly (sp?), meaning no NARPAS SWORD, game genie, emulators, or junk like that. I have only  tried to beat the game once since then and I didn't suceed (stupid brothers overwrote my password).

Oh, I've kicked my younger brother several times. Does that count?
