Apologies for the bump, but I'm not certain where to go next. Here's my gear:
Morphball
Bombs
Missiles
Powerbombs
Varia
Gravity
Charge/Ice/Wave/Spazer
Hi-Jump
Speed Booster
Grappling
My last achievement was killing Draygon, but his reward didn't unlock anything as far as I can tell, nor are there any metal doors he could have opened. I'm pretty certain I need super missiles now since every goddamn barrier I can find requires them, but I'm at a loss as to where they could be.
. . .
With Draygon's item you can now explore the lower reaches of Kraid's Lair ;D

Lower left btw... not lower right
Ahh, okay, thanks. I'd completely forgotten that powerbomb door even existed. Super Metroid really needs to add the doors to the maps...

Anyway, 3:28 with 75% completion. There were a whole bunch of powerups behind super missile blocks that I didn't bother grabbing, but I did kit myself out with all of the major upgrades (including X-Ray).

Thanks for making the hack, Ichigo! It was overall enjoyable. I would have appreciated a bit more variety in room design and fewer hitpoints on the sidehoppers / fewer pirates overall, though. Or else the Evasion item from Eris. :) Definitely having morphball and bombs so late was a nice change of pace, though you needed to be a bit more careful with putting bomb blocks where the speedbooster could reach them.
Hey! First post at the forums, nice place that I just discovered.  Anyway, I've been playing Pantheon and it's my very first Metroid hack and I'm really enjoying it so far; you've done a great job.

I have been steady going so far and thanks to your hack I can now wall-jump, mockball, speedball, and shinespark all with ease.. very different scenario a week ago.

Trying to work on a 100%, very fun.. but I've come to a halt.

So far my items consist of the following:
-6 E. Tanks
-2 R. Tanks
-140 Missles / 15 Power Bombs
-Ice Beam, Charge Beam, Spazer
-Varia Suit, Gravity Suit
-Morphball w/ bombs
-Hi-Jump Boots, Speedbooster

I've been trying to get the springball, but can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.. I have a general idea but I'm not sure if I'm right.  I figure that I have to speed ball from 2 rooms to the left.  Is that correct? Start at the edge of the ledge, go through the first door, blast the door, and as soon as I blue suit jump and speedball?  That seems like it has to be completely perfect on the money.. if that's the way I'd appreciate just a simple yes.

Again, great hack and it is greatly appreciated by this Metroid fanatic!

Hey! I just registered on this forum for this quesions. Hope this thread isn't totally dead already.

So far: Nice hack! And I must say, I really didn't see that many tiling errors. Don't know if you already updated that link but I can't say I recognized more than 10 errors so far. The best part so far has been Brinstar. With it's different areas like the watery area and so on, it really is something new. Also I have to say I don't mind this hack not being very hard. I hate hacks which can only be done TASed, which applies to most of them. I also like the exploration-driven design a lot.
However one thing that really bothered me so far were the millions of Space Pirates in a row and some of the morphball tunnels. Really, both Pirates and tunnels don't add to the challenge or fun of the game, just make you slow down and get bored.
And and more thing that can be irritating: all the bosses and minibosses seem to be in the "twilight zone". Which means, their rooms are not actually on the map. As a result, the boss rooms will always stay blue, which can be confusing.
Also:
But one thing is frustrating: Playing for the first time, you have no idea which items you are going to get. So you suppose to get morphball and bombs early, as usual. Well the problem is not to get those late, but all the tunnels and bomb-blocks make you think that you should have this items. It teases you like "Wooh look at all those bomb blocks and tunnels, well you wanna get here? Haha no chance!"-  And not having these items is really frustrating. It would be like if half the game was clustered with grapple blocks but you get the grapple beam at the very end. You'd be pi**ed at the moment you get it. So if you make the morphball/bombs so late, then please don't have that many tunnels/bomb-blocks in areas at the beginning.
Another thing I find slightly irritating is getting both of the suites that early. In original SM, you really NEED both of the suites and you really feel like having achieved something when you get them. Well in this hack you get the Varia suite, which is fine, but only like 20 minutes later you get the Gravity suite, which feels out of place. It's like the varia isn't even worth it. I'd say, spread them out a little more.

Damn, this were just my two cents....

So here I am with my question which drive me nuts:
Edit: just found the charge beam...actually, very obvious! the room is even indicated by a map-thingy, I mean, it is shown in blue after you touched that map-station.
Oh and I just found a cheap way to beat the Golden Torizo very easily:
As soon as he appears, make your way back to the left of the room. He will walk towards you, destroying all of the blocks in the way. Then just wall-jump back up to the ledge were you came from. If you have the wave beam, you can just stay at the very right end of the ledge, shooting down charged shots to the lower left corner of the room, were GT will be staying all the time. He has no chance as he simply can't reach you. Very cheap, yeah, but I also have to say he is very hard without hyper beam and many E-tanks.

And then I guess the Hi-Jump-Boots:
I found this room in Brinstar, above those two red floating guys in the shaft. It is one big room with some hoppers in it. Now there is like a ramp going down where you can charge a Speed Boost. But then there is a bunch of speed booster blocks inside a wall in the top right corner. My problem is, how exactely am I supposed to get trough those blocks?? Sorry if I'm off but I can't pull of a Shinespark while jumping can I ?? At least I tried a hundred times. Looks like I have to charge up, then wall-jump up the left wall and then shinespark from the middle of the wall. How do I do that?

I hope someone can answer this. Well, thanks for this great hack!
For your last question, you can execute midair shinesparks. They're just a bit tricky. Spinjump, then fire, then press jump and the direction and you should shinespark...if you get the timing right. If you just needed to do a vertical one, it's easy enough, and you can do diagonals by holding L or R, but horizontals are harder.

Honestly, horizontal shinesparks are the only area in Super Metroid where I feel the controls aren't up to snuff.
@ Derakon: Thanks, didn't know that you have to fire.

Just finished it. I must say, running around Zebes like normal just with the bomb timer counting down, that's pretty funny.
Looking back, I didn't like the boss order.
Having Draygon in lava and so close to Ridley seems totally out of place.

Having that said, great hack! And pretty epic too. Of course not as big as Metroid Redesign but still a lot bigger than the original game.

Clear Time: 4:57
Rate of Items: 70 %
My Upgrades: 10 E-Tanks, 2 Reserve Tanks, all beams, all boots, both suits, morphball and bombs
I was missing: X-Ray Scope, Screw Attack, Springball

And by the way, I found a room in Tourian behind a green door.
It was filled with yellow pirates and I didn't find anything inside. Is there some hidden item in there? Just curious.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!

Technically, you don't have to fire.  You just have to perform a move that breaks the spin-jump animation.  I believe you can use aim up / down, jump, up, or fire.
Alright, sorry if this has been answered but I've been trying to avoid spoilers.

Where do I go after getting the
Wave Beam? I'm guessing Kraid, but not sure about where.
Search near the area where you first got supermissiles.
Don't have them yet.
Oh, wait, sorry. I was thinking of Stardust, not Pantheon. My bad.

Um, I don't remember where to go after wave beam.

Alright, I'm past that now. Now I'm looking for Screw Attack, could I please have a hint on where it is?

EDIT: Nvm, found it and beat the game. :P 6:47 with 57%.

Very fun hack, really enjoyed it. My only complains are the number of morphball/bomb tunnels. They were tedious and got very repetitive. Also, Mother Brain was way too easy. Other than those points, good job, thanks for making a great hack!
Armor Guardian
I'm pretty sure I'm stuck. Details inside:

4 E-Tanks
90 Missiles
Morph Ball
Ice/Spazer
Varia/Gravity
Speed Booster

So basically, I got the Speed Booster and was wandering around wondering where to go next. In Crateria there was a semi-watery room with a bomb block on the floor, which I broke with the Speed Booster. This led me through a bunch of watery rooms in Crateria and Brinstar, eventually leading me to the Gravity Suit. With it, I managed to explore a large portion of watery Kraid by abusing frozen enemies and enemy knockback, but I couldn't find anything notable. The furthest I got was to a gray door I couldn't open. In watery Brinstar I found a Super Missile tank I am unable to obtain, but not much else. I made it back to the watery portion of Crateria, but I can't get back to the proper of Crateria due to my lack of Bombs.

So yeah... short of RAM hacking, is there any way I can get unstuck.
Yeah, that seems to be a common way to get stuck. There is a way out of it, but it pretty much requires TASing. You can sequence-break to get early Powerbombs by doing a speedball through a barrier in the upper-right area. There's a corridor that's blocked off by a pillar; the topmost blocks, right below the ceiling, can be broken while speedboosting in morphball form. So you have to go to the prior room, do a short-charge, jump, and morph into speedball with the right height so you can continue the speed through the pillar. There's powerbombs in the ceiling of the chamber below.

Good luck; I had to slow things way down to pull it off and even then it took many tries to figure out what the right timing is.
Armor Guardian
Ugh. I can barely even mockball, but I don't want to restart. :/

I guess I'll cheat to give myself the bluesuit to get past that obstacle. :S
Armor Guardian
Finished with about 9:47 left on the escape timer.

5:28 / 73%

Decent hack, but it could've used some more playtesting.

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
I remember I went all around Maridia using enemies as boosts or legdes. You could also get stuck if you broke the tube, and went up without wave beam, as there's a reverse gate there, and the door locks behind you. Though, I got the PBs from the turtle room, so I guess you're sposed to have wave to get PBs normally.

I don't think this hack had ANY playtesting (other than Squishy). He sprung it on us from out of nowhere.

Oh jeeze, I remember navigating the morphball mazes by taking damage boosts off of all the crabs. That was a pain, and required some careful use of the icebeam to make sure I had time to get into position without killing the thing that was going to boost me. And of course, I got zilch to show for it.
Armor Guardian
Heh. That's exactly what I ended up doing.

(Man, that gives me a rather fiendish idea for a hack.)
Anyone know how to obtain the certain item I mentioned in my last post? Thanks.
Armor Guardian
The Spring Ball? IIRC you have to do the speed ball to get that.

4:44, 87%.

This was a fun hack.  I definitely liked the item progression and level design, but like everyone else, I have a few gripes:

There are too many areas where you can get perma-stuck.  Such examples are the red brinstar shaft with the super missile door at the bottom, and sandy maridia where you can fall down into those pits without the gravity suit or ice beam.

Remember, you can never just ASSUME the player has all the powerups you think they should at a given point.  Many players (like me) sequence break without even knowing it and end up somewhere without a powerup they should supposedly have.

Another problem I had was a scrolling error after fighting spore spawn.  Upon entering his room the game got all glitchy and persisted after I had left his room.  I had to go all the way back to my ship and save to fix it.  Not too big of a deal, though.

All in all, the good outweighs the bad.  Thanks for dedicating your time to creating this!

The operation was completed successfully.  5:16 with 81% items.  This was a NICE break from Limit and Impossible.  I looked for about an hour for the animals though with savestates and couldn't find them.  Where were they??

Also the speed ball parts were very hard, such a short window to make the morph :/
Christmas RAGE!
Okay I have
4 M. Tanks
Grapple beam
1 E. Tank

WHERE DO I GO!!1!QUESTION MARK
I cant get past that row of grapple blocks with those square stalagtites/stalagmites inbetween
