You have to enter Kraid like that, thats nothing special. My surprise is

how could you "find out" where the Space Jump is. It shouldn't be possible in this early stage. See BlueGlass' Post for an example.

But you can't "just" bomb the floor there because some 4 friends that are right above it, wouldn't allow you to do that.

You can't get Space Jump at the position you are now. The grey door would prevent you to leave that room and the enemies would kill you. Something is wrong on your side. In any case, look for Power Bombs next

You are in the right room, but in the wrong place of it. The many bomb blocks have only one job: to confuse you :)

Try to look for a hidden morphball hole somewhere in this room.

Saturn, here is a save state with all the Beetoms avoided where the bomb hole is

all I would need to do is get space jump and run out as fast as possible (I already have space jump in the state)

I've been doing tha ever since I saw a crab disappear into the wall about twenty minutes ago. Mind telling me which square on the map to look in?

EDIT@pjman: Did you do this TAS-style? Because I see no other way to avoid all the beetoms.

And stop usind ZSNES! I can't look at you savetate to find out exactly where the item is (also, it's not a direct download, you just wait after entering in the numbers/letters).

Ok, you managed to avoid them. But the door should be grey and only allow you to leave after you kill them... WTF, gonna check that room one more time, maybe it's a ZSNES emulation bug...

deleted, edited, reposted: Right. I'm completely stuck. Every path I can think of is a dead end.

I just beat Botwoon. I'm guessing my next item will be either varia suit or grappling beam, but I have no idea where to find it.

And what you did with the plasma beam was evil. And the gravity suit for that matter.

Also, the Botwoon fight forced me to use a savestate almost every round near the end. There is simply no way to dodge some of his patterns in the power suit if you don't know they're coming.

the block doesn't matter, the Super Missile still goes through the gate, the water doesn't matter either

Assuming my next destination is lower norfair, but I don't have enough energy (I don't think). Could you point me in the direction of an etank or two?

1st of all you have 10 tanks of Energy, 2nd you can do 2 Crystal Flashs, and I think the next item is Wave Beam or Charge Beam to get the Gravity Suit.

and how you you get past the room after Botwoon

Morph ball tunnels. They aren't hard to find. And you're right: I do have enough energy (i hope).

But charge beam? I found that a while ago. I'm just hoping to see the Varia suit soon.

EDIT: Saturn, your boss fights are getting progressively more impossible. I'm now being murdered by GT.

If you have Charge Beam, I think, you could do a SBA at the Blue Gate Guarding Gravity Suit

To get to Gravity Suit, go to Norfair and go through the bottom door, then go to the top right of the room Wink
