The story behind how I got my copy of Echoes
I'm happen to be friends with the staff of an EB Games store, anywayz, I had preordered my copy of Echoes, all paid off and everything. I was expecting it to come out on December 2nd like everyone kept saying... Well... don't believe everything you hear.
The manager of the EB Games store rang me up telling me that they've had the game in for a day and wondered why I hadn't come to pick it up. Well as soon as she said it was in I got all excited, telling her I was rushing over to pick it up.
Problem was that it was 5:10pm and they were gonna close in 20 minutes... big problem was that I lived 30 minutes away from the store... bigger problem was that I don't have a license so I had to get my mum to drive me down...
So when my mum asked me what time they closed, I lied and said they close at 6pm. XD So anywayz we get there at about 5:40pm and they're closed, but like I said at the start, the staff in that store are my friends, so I just tapped on the window and they let me in, I got Echoes and thanked em and rushed home to play it on the big screen XD
This was on the 1st of December... and according to the manager it came in a day before that (30th November)... Hah, 2nd December my ass.
