The key trick is listed, as doninss says, in case someone manages to skip the boost ball in the future (highly unlikely) - although it is still an important trick even if you don't skip the boost ball because it's faster than doing that room the normal way.

The site lists techniques for skips and possible future skips I believe. (In Echoes case, mostly possible future.)
Perhaps extra tanks might help with boosty. The Windchamber Gateway one is pretty easy to get to. (You will need to get a handle on roll jumping or dashing to get back.) If you go to extremes, 10 tanks are available.
I've never used s_e's boosty method successfully, so I can't offer any help there. It usually takes me quite few tries using the more normal tactics. (I suck, but there is a luck factor.) Getting decent damage 1st round really helps.
I start with a partially charged light beam shot, and then try to get in as many fully charged shots as possible before he morphs. (With a shot or two at his black puddle.)
I jump to avoid his boosts rather than morphing, using single light beams shots on inglets for health (after they start appearing). I sometimes jump onto a pillar, but you must jump before he hits it to avoid damage.
I think there's is a strat for bombing the puddle more efficiently, but I don't remember it. (I am usually too nervous to use it anyway, I just bomb away.)
Actually, I'd watched someone's speed run video recently, an spotted a new trick on the boost guardian I should be using. Watch him roll, an follow him the -moment- you seem him slowing down. Once he's stopped, bomb like mad an move a short distance away. Should turn him straight into puddle. Then just unload with bombs in sets of 3. Once he goes back to ball form, follow to the side of the room you see the puddle zoom too. If done right, you just may be able to drop bombs on him right then, an force him away from ball form completely. If not.. at least you can limit the amount of time he's in ball form, which is the most dangerous form he has. After that it's just unloading with charged white beam shots, an pelting the inglets with dark beam to keep the white ammo up.
That ghetto is tough in Temple Assembly Site. In the elevator room you have a choice of bsj or ghetto to enter the secret world for early PBX. You have to load one extra room, but both SW methods are easier than the ghetto on the tree root in Temple Assembly Site, IMO.

Yeah, thanks for pointing me to that! I was unable to do the root ghetto after -many- tries. Almost an hour of solid work. The one in the Temple Transport B? Took me about 4-5 tries, an I had it. :} Note to anyone reading this.. -WATCH FOR THE ELEVATOR HOLO WHEN DOING THIS GHETTO!- It is -way- too easy to set off the elevator just after messing up the ghetto jump, an forcing yourself to have to wait on an elevator ride up an back down to keep trying. :P now, I wait to watch videos to find a path through the secret world that'll land me on the power bomb, without falling into nothing, an I"m set! Thanks guys.
As another thing.. I guess I posted too soon. I got into the SW like in the videos you reach through Doninss link at the end of his post. However, something's not right. No matter what I do, i cannot get into the SW of the Assembly site from here. Every time I jump at the door to the Assemly site.. the next room loads into view.. for about a second, an when samus 'falls' to the floor of the SW.. the room vanishes an I'm still stuck in the Temple Transport B room! Any ideas what I can try? perhaps there's a jump trick to passing through this door I'm missing?
