I run this here hotel of an evening
awesome, i found a new way into the control tower sw. dunno if it's known or not, but it's not on the main site. knock the tower down by jumping off the boxes and shooting over the force field like normal, then before it actually falls, get over to the hole that hasn't appeared yet. if you can get there in time and jump instead of morph you'll be in the tower. wiggle around a bit and fall out into the sw.

very annoying when i'm speedrunning and i hit jump instead of morph, especially if i'm doing a ss

I've been trying to get an early powerbomb in magmoor caverns.



This is the closest I got but I only tried it for about 15 minutes. Does anyone know if someone already did this?

So far it's only possible for FJ. But you can get an early PB after Boost anyways, so it doesn't matter.

You can use the "infinite speed bug", a very wierd glitch, to get the one in chozo ruins.

The one in ice ruins west cannot be obtained with infinite speed. I got IS at chapel of the elders (the room with the wave beam) got the artifact of sun, went to ice ruins west and all i got was hits from the enemys is that room.

I would realy like to know were the infinite speed spots are in magmoor. preferably close to ice spreader and the powerbomb there.

WOW, I almost got the early powerbomb in warrior shrine!  Shocked. I made it into the tunnel but as I was making my way up suddenly the camera changes 180 degrees and Im rolling back out :(. Im sure you can make it in now. The trickis to make contact with the tube and then boost. Sometimes a boost up against something, like a wall, will boost you up. I wasn't recording so no video unfortunatly.

When you've got boost you can get the chozo ruins one anyways, but good job. I could never seem the boosts to make me go up after a bomb jump, it always shot me back down :/.

Getting a power bomb, any power bomb, before you are meant to counts as early. You just might be able to get one a bit earlier than you can get another.

yep. same thing as saying crossway's missile expansion doesn't count as an early expansion just because you already have missiles by then, which is obviously not true.
