Like I said in the maru mari thread, the end was incredibly rushed. A lot was skipped over or simply 'implied' that should have been explained more fully.

I think this is a japanese thing, because a lot of anime films end like this.

i think it's just running out of money. which yeah is usually more of a japanese entertainment thing than american entertainment thing.

Not always a good thing, though. Take Duke Nukem Forever. They just couldn't stop spending money on it, and now it's coming out however many years later and however many dollars later with no chance of living up to expectations no matter how good it is. :p

my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
and DNF is coming out because the original dev studio imploded and a new one is finishing it. if it wasn't for that, the game would be still in infinite development.
