Anyway (this is very hard for me to explain so please bear with me), I have a door and I removed the doors caps on both sides, when I enter the door it works fine but I'm wondering if I'm able to remove the doors tiles (back part of the doors) and just have an opening.

So pretty much what I'm asking is, how do I get an air tile to take the position of let's say door #02 and lead me to whatever room door #02 points me to.

(confused? Sorry.  laugh new)

This will help a lot with how my hack plays if anyone can answer. Thanks for the help!
well you almost answered your own ?  sall you need to do is take an  air  tile  like the for the back ground for instance    and just convert it in to a door tile  then go to your bts menu  --  set the bts to the corresponding  door number then drag onto your air tile

I'm a soldier in Afghanistan. My wife is also over here but at another FOB, so these forums and my current WIP keep my mind off of everything. So you will see me around alot.

Regarding your doors question, Chozo_69 gave you the easy rundown. Just use "Air tiles" and turn them into "Door tiles" on the edge of the screen. Then you can just right-click those tiles and type in the BTS Value that you had before (assuming you're using Smile 2.3). Doing it this way makes the game look more like a Fade-to-Black transition instead of a Scrolling Transition to the next room.

Does anyone know how to remove the acid from room: 7B1E5 (the chozo statue room where the statue lowers the acid.)? I can't figure it out and I kinda need to use that room.

Did you try setting the FX1 to None?
well iv asked this ? before only to prevail  with an informative but pointless answer seeing as how i knew bout it :p  but yea  - i kinda  need  help  on the room  in ceres station with ridley in it  i dont think i  did Permanent damage to my rom but i could be wrong  - but the  animation  for ridley  when he flys away, when  your heath is below 29 or drops he  the metroid,  is  messed up  like i know ill have to fix it with a  hex editor  but could someone point me in the right direction  as like where the room coding is  ?  -thx -- and btw  i cant  start fresh im 3/4  in to my full hack  and i just realized this now :( so  unno how long ago it happened  cuz i never checked it till now  --- but yea eny help would be very appreciated

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried, I also set the surface values to FFFF and everything else to 00, nothing works at all. Room 7B1E5 is just causing problems but it will seem as if that room is a dead end, so I'm keeping the acid anyways.

I dunno bout hex editing but you could just remove the intro.
Ridley flying away in Ceres will always reset the room design while it's happening so it's best to just leave it alone. It'd probably take a long time for anyone who wanted to figure out how to change that, seeing as it's mode 7 graphics and mode 7 is a pain even for Jathys.

Try opening the original rom, go to that room and then while in that room, goto File>Open Rom. Open your rom with the damaged room. As soon as it opens, immediately hit Save Room, it should save the room from the Original Rom to your Rom. Hope this helps.
Ok I seem to be having a problem with plms dissappearing.  Some of the missiles and ect  have just vanished into thin air when i test the rooms  any idea of whats causing this?
I'm not sure if it would have anything to do with it but, do any of your plm's have the same index?

I had a problem with that with SMILE 2.00, and because of it, I've stuck with 1.32 till last week. Now I'm using 2.30.

Are the PLMs disappearing in SMILE or just in game? if it's in game, then the PLMs have the same index, if it's in SMILE, you've overwritten something, or (if you're using 2.00) then there's the bug that happens when you save in a room with no PLMs, and it deletes all PLMs in the next room.

Tbolt, not only check the index of the items, because yes, having 2 items of the same Index will cause the other to disappear if one is picked up of the same index.

Also, did you change the number of PLM's in the room to a different number (such as from 1 to 5?). If you did this, then it may be sharing the PLM pointer with that of another room, so wherever the item placement is in another room will directly affect where the items are placed in your room. It may be shared between 2 rooms you created.

For example: You have Room 1 and Room 2 you created. You changed PLM's in both rooms so both rooms have 3 PLM's. You edited the first room to how you like it, then in Room 2 edited it to how you like it. Play back in Room 1 and PLM's are either moved/missing. This would be cause by shared PLM Pointer Data. Or if it's gone for good, it could be because it is out of reach of the room. 1 PLM in a room could be now at location 4,4, while in your room that's 1x2, you will never see it because it never reaches. Sorry it's so long and seems complicated, but once you understand it you will know what I'm trying to say.

Edit: The easiest way I think of making sure there's no duplicates, is to start in the first room, number off your PLM's starting from "00" and then go to the next room in the list, and keep numbering up all the way until you hit the Ceres rooms, as normally they can't hold PLM's without crashing too much.

Also, how would I even begin to add the speed echoes to Samus so they are on only when running with the Dash button held down? I'm sure it's ASM to mess with, or is there just a way to have speed echoes always on, without the speed booster effect.
Most likely asm, because AFAIK, smile doesn't have anything to make that happen.
