The version of it that I took the pics from is the top one: Official Movie 1. It's only 25 sec long, with Reggie speaking about it over the gameplay. (Little sound from the game itself, unfortunately) You can try and find some more footage in the other ones if you want to, since a few of them don't have him speaking. (Can't remember which one is the best version to look at, sorry)

First of all, would it be possible to shrink Scarlet's pic?  It's a little annoying…

The forum should automatically do that once everything's done loading.
Well, sir, it doesn't.

MMMV as I use Opera, and maybe it doesn't support image shrinkeyness.

Now, to the topic:

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

Maybe the title of 'Corruption' refers to a few things. Maybe a branch of the Galactic Federation is involved. Or something.

Been talking to Tim on IRC and apparently he got a hold of a press release thingy or something. He's going to transcript it and put it up, but for now one major thing is that apparently this is gonna be multi-planet like Hunters.

EDIT: Nate told me the shrinky thing doesn't work in IE, and if your Opera is set to identify as IE the script will not fire.
Press Release GET!
Old news GET!

At least I've read it before. Truth be told, I liked the plot. Seeing some new planets will be interesting. Plus this means the new gunship will be integrated much more than the other Prime games.
@Yoshi: Doesn't work in Safari either, and I'm not using the User Agent debug either, so it's identifying itself as Safari.
yeah, it doesn't work properly in safari, so it's disabled for safari.
A new look at the E3 Demo, courtesy of Gamespot:

They confirm that the Ridley battle we've seen is in fact a vertical shaft, with the counter being for distance and not time.

Man, that sounds sweet. Really glad to hear that the control scheme works well, and that the battles and puzzles are supposedly engaging enough.
:-D  GRAPPLE HOOKor beam YANKING!!! This game makes my brain asplode. Like FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. I am happy, in case you couldn't tell. This is going to be the best Metroid game EVAR.

And Arkarian, Phazon was NOT overused. It's frigging awesome. Phazon is my favorite radioactive substance ever. IT EVEN BEATS URANIUM.
Anywhere, everywhere
Here's a vid of a guy playing the MP3 demo at E3, very poorly I might add. laugh new
Pwnt by pirates. Dazuro Ghenari on www.samusforum.co.uk would love this.

Looks like the controller movements are very wild, though I'm sure it's his first time playing - nothin to complain about there. The game looks very intense, very fun.
Ok... now I'm REALLY confused: MP3 may end up being a LAUNCH TITLE ??? (According to a supposed interview with Retro Studios)
http://revolution.ign.com/articles/707/707486p1.html

If that's not true, at least they have a few other new details about the game:

- Will not feature an online mode for competitive multiplay
- Support of the system's 24-hour-connection is under consideration. (This would allow Nintendo to push upgrades and additional content to owners with wireless connections even when the console is switched off.)
- Feature large areas to explore on multiple worlds.
- Travel between areas likely occurs only in cutscene form.
- Retro hinted at a new visor mode that lets Samus command her ship from the ground. (For example, she can use the gunship uplink to blow up obstacles in her way and gain access to new areas.)
- X-Ray visor will return and play a bigger part in both combat and puzzle solving.
- New beam that is able to shoot through walls

There goes sequence breaking.
only if it's considered a bug.
my umbrella goes directly to Bankai
quick, let's make the sequence breaking topics secret! :o

the real Wave Beam seems to be back. now only the Spazer need to return.

hello invisible walls, goodbye my love of 3D metroid.

If they "update" it every time that a new glitch is found, i'm going to be SERIOUSLY pissed off. I suppose that since it wont be written to the disk, we will be able to delete it from the files stored in the Wii though. That solves the problem.

The "upgrades" for Corruption will probably be like the maps and patches in halo 2.  You can download them onto the system and they are saved in the system.  If you use your disk on a system that doesnt have these updates, you won't get the extra maps (or in this case, bug fixes).

So that seems to solve that problem.  I just hope nintendo decides to leave the classics how they are, and not to mess around with the glitches that are there.

Wow, if you're going to be big babies about it, just keep your system offline. Shouldn't be that hard.

I'm pretty sure he means "shoot through walls" in the Red Faction sense.
Not sure if anybody has seen this, but there's a new 9+ min gameplay video on Gamespot: (The top video)

(How many times am I going to link to the same exact videos page, anyway?)

Edit: That other Hunter looks nothing like Noxus to me. What about you guys?
