That means finding a way to that third grapple block.  Great.  This is going to break me (I'm assuming I have to jump from the 2nd grapple block I'm on to that one above me in the picture).  Not unless I'm supposed to have the the Hi-Jump Boots now and whatnot  laugh new.

Are you standing on the uppermost right ledge, under the fish, and then freezing the fish before proceeding to get to the blocks? After it's frozen, jump to the far left and grapple the block, quickly push off it and diagonal grapple the next, same for next. The fish should now be unfrozen and heading left. When it's at the lowest point in its movement pattern, jump off the block and freeze the fish right away so that you land on top of it. If it's too far away from the ledge, just jump and freeze it again when it's closer to the right ledge.

laugh new Muahaha, I've made it sound 10x harder than it actually is. I just don't want you to quit this far into the game.

Yeah, it's the grappling from the 2nd block to the one above it that's giving me all the problems (Crouch Jump from the far right ledge, grappled onto the 2nd block, skipping the first one).  I always seem to come up short of grappling to that last one :P.

EDIT: Nailed it.  That wasn't all that bad actually...I was just doing it slightly wrong before :P.  Onwards I go.

Sorry if I missed this being explained -if it was- earlier.

I have the Grapple Beam, I made my way up the spike walled room with the grapple blocks on each side...  I'm thinking I need something in the room that is blocked by the little elevator thing, unless I have to grapple beam glitch myself into the rock...  :-s  I've tried getting up into that area, but I don't see or know how to.  Embarassed

Otherwise I go back through Crockomires room, then up and don't have enough health to go to the left.  Because that's the only other way I see to go.

I suspect I need...

You're supposed to go up the spike shaft. Use a gravity grapple or a diagonal grapple to the rock ledge.
So I go back down to that room?  :-D

But seriously.  I think you misunderstood me.

Going back into crocs room and then back into the heat (with 3 e-tanks) isn't enough.  I die when I try to go to the left where the bomb blocks are and the red pirate/s.

Nope, I gave up weeks ago, as i said in other post, precision ain't fun when you have to redo 1 room 100 times, to get stuck on the next one, I just pulled a "I have the freaking bluesuit" on everything after that xd, and even with bluesuit i couldn't figure out what to do with that place in the screenshot, and how to destroy the robots...
It's been awhile, but I fired up my file and finished it just now (Original Version is what I used).

Clear Time - 6:29
Item Collection Rate - 65%

I didn't see any spots which seemed like it was ridiculous or just plain out unfair without attempting it several hundred times.  The tough spots were the suitless heat runs in Norfair and Lower Norfair as I cut it very close on both (10 or less energy remaining on every case at least).  Also my little escapade involving that grappling puzzle in Maridia before getting Gravity.

The bosses were tricky too.  Mainly due to limited resources or room design.

Escape took a few tries, but I got out with a little under 5 seconds left.

Overall, a fun hack to play through.
Evem though I can pull most of the tricks except HBJ, it was kinda boring to have to use slowdown for every bit of the game i couldn't do (for example, kraid's lair)

Go to the dark brinstar tall shaft with pb blocks. If you have speedbooster, there's a speedbooster block that you can take that leads to the wrecked ship. If you need speedbooster, check the brick crateria room.

Got the booster, but the PB obstacle is driving me fucking crazy (sorry for the foul language).

If you're playing hard, you need to do a good quick charge, should probably savestate in the door transition, and morph when you see that you have the speedbooster charged. Immediaately lay a powerbomb, unmorph and jump to where the block is, and at the first moment possible, diagonal shinespark. It's much easier if you can short charge.

On easy, you just shinespark, no strings attached. If you can't do it on hard, please download easy version and beat my hack. :) I hope you will finish!

I passed the PB obstacle, but i still can't find the missiles
Kill all the enemies in the room after elevator, shinespark past the tube, and then proceed to wrecked ship. It should get straightforward from there.

How i'm i supposed to pass this Speed Boost Obstacle?

Get your charge from a sprint in the previous room.
Spin-jump just before entering the door so that you have downward momentum after you enter.
Horizontal spark through the blocks. (Tap up, then right and jump button)

Pressing jump immediately followed by forward for a horizontal spark only works if you're stood on the ground.

For a mid-air spark, you need to stall your movement with up / aim up / aim down, then press jump and forward.

Thinking about it, you could probably use jump to change your position to standing while still airborne, but I don't know if you can spark from there.
What am I supposed to do with the dead robots that are blocking the rooms where hi jump and ice beam were in the original?  A previous post said shooting them kills them, but I haven't had any luck with this.
