Yes, it kinda spoils all the fun from searching and realizing things. Well, it spoils as much as reading this topic or asking something, so I dont know if that matters that much in the end. It is up to you.

EDIT: All 19 parts of this playthrough are uploaded now. Have fun watching! My favorite is at part 7 and time 7:30 onwards, a couple of nice glitches there  :)
Waaaaaaa i want insanity
Hey I'm still playing through SMI 1.5.
I can't get the etecoons e-tank, i can't find a grapple block, bomb block, or whatever.
pleaze help.

Edit: Doesn't matter, I found it.

Edit2: Thanks for the help anyway ducknerd.

Hint 1:
It's hidden by super missile blocks

Hint 2:
The way to the tank is in the bottom half of the room

Hint 3:
It's in the ceiling in the right half of the room

Exact location:
Open the door on the bottom right. Walk onto the block where the door opened, but not actually into the door. Shoot a series of super missiles upward. This will open up a passage that leads to the tank.
Hey Saturn, I got turned onto your hack from the somethingawful let's play thread where those guys were trolling you and whose videos someone said you enjoyed watching.  I thought this was actually really well thought out in terms of the order you have to do things in and the absolute limits you push on the player, definitely way more than SPIKES that most people give up on after 5 minutes.

By far I had the most trouble with Ridley needing well over 2 hours of constant state loading to manipulate his patterns for a quicker fight, and after that would be Draygon and Golden Torizo at about an hour each because of ammo constraints.  Even with save stating it was still really tense because I never knew if I had already screwed myself over.

A lot of my enjoyment and what kept me going was trying to predict just how mean you could be.  Placing spikes in off-screen scroll areas, the fleas that were impossible to kill for so long yet were in your way and hard to dodge, going through Maridia without the gravity suit (though you were kind enough to modify it slightly), short charging the energy tank behind the original charge beam, and varia-less Super Norfair are just the ones that stand out the most.

I'm really happy with myself that besides save states (I pity the person who tries this on console!) and the snail super missiles (which you admit requires frame precision) I didn't use any other assistance like slowdown or cheat codes; all real time and by the book.  And excepting 3 items (Brinstar tube missiles, snail missiles and supers) I was able to find everything on my own by following the "If there were X items in the room in the original, there still are X in this hack" rule and judicious use of power bombs with some logic thrown in, I really liked the consistency you kept with that.  The X-ray Scope obviously still eludes me as it does everybody else, but I can't wait until it's discovered because I'm sure it'll be cleverly hidden and make us all smack our foreheads.

Only 2 hours for Ridley? I'm jealous. It took me several DAYS (but eventually discovered it to be a bit easier once I refilled my missiles more, that alone took a couple hours after realizing I had used up far too many via Crystal Flashes to get all my supers back).

Still on GT in 1.5

I think i need more stuff.

Please do tell, at least PM me if you dont want to tell it to everybody.
Wow, I knew it would be you.

Maybe after I get Saturn's permission
Almost happy
I won't belive you untill you show me a smv as proof, but I knew it would be you or lance, if anyone, to finally find the x-ray. Congratulations if it's true :P

How about I show Saturn a movie of how to get x-ray via PM, and then he confirms that I got it

If it's all right with saturn, I'm rather interested in the solution too. I gave up on the fucking thing a while ago, but I'm kinda curious as to just how devious Saturn was.

Of course not in this topic. I doubt saturn could let it be hinted at much more here, even in spoiler tags. At least I haven't technically given up yet.

I suppose I can't really speak for everyone, though. >_>

P.JMan:
In that smv I think you're not going to the right direction. If I'm correct those tunnels are shaped kinda like
you gotta get over that small 1 block gap with bombs or spring ball I don't know, but that's how I've imagined it by testing on my own. I can't get it either, if you happen to get a smv of actually getting the x-ray will you post it?

It looks like this. No I didn't hack Metoid Impossible, this is my interpretation:

What the... If it's like that then why can't even I get it? I mean I managed to get over that 1 block gap but then when I started bombing nothing happened. I pressed right and smashed the bomb button but I didn't obtain the X-Ray.  :|

Oh, and you really showed the X-Ray tunnel with like 100 times better picture. ;)
I got it too. That was... WEIRD!

Out of area/screen traveling or something? I guess there was one block wide hole to be dropped out or something?  How did you guys enter that corridor? I just CF:ed from the bottom and "invisible IBJ:ed" up  :)
I did not have to use the bombs at all after IBJing.

What was the special trick required here after all?

Is it not possible to obtain this item before Ridley? I think it might be.

Finally the answer to this riddle, now this hack is complete, thank you P.Jman and Saturn  :)
Lance there's no need for IBJ there, you can just spinjump and spacejump or walljump up and morph in the air, I think it's a lot easier.

P.JMan is really creative. I never would've found this.
I think the tips Saturn gave were kinda misleading. He must have been in fear ever since we started CFing things so he minimized it as much as possible both in the hack and in the conversation  =)

I am kind of disappointed but at the same time exited. Great job, really great job on this hack.
Armor Guardian
That was quite anticlimatic.

That was a little bit of a letdown, but it's taken so long to find the damn thing it couldn't possibly live up to our rising expectations. Well done yet again, Saturn.

Now just to get those fucking tube missiles...
Yeah...This is hella hard. I told my friend about this romhack, he tried it...I saw hell.

I'd like to see that kid axiel from SA try this one out.

You haven't got them yet? Have you looked at my movie?

It wouldn't play. I know you have to
ceiling glitch via some frozen enemy, but I don't know which one or through which block.
I'm stuck at the super missle room (the one w/ the statue)
how do I get out of this area?

Edit: got it. ibj, shoot, continue. Hell, what a hard move!
