Screw you Saturn, I really can't get to Kraid without bomb jumping in my TAS. :( Is it completely possible with my current items or..? I wouldn't like to bomb jump there and get to know later that it could be done a lot faster.

It unfortunately seems that it is impossible. I tried really hard to make it after seeing Cpadolf's Kraidentry.smv, but the gap is just too big. Geting more momentum before the jump won't work either, because you will hit the top block of the Giant Head, resulting in a fail as well.
If anybody can manage to enter this hole without HBJ, he is truly a genius. I highly doubt this will ever happen though. :(
Just to keep you dated I'm at Kraid with my run. This will really be an annoying boss, but oh well. It ain't gonna be done if I don't take bull by the horns. :)
A little late but great run P.J.Man. I finally found how I can download movies using IE (you just rename the download.php to what it is suppost to be). The 0 health trick after Ridley was amazing.

Well after he ridley catches him and explodes, his health reaches 0. He then pauses, unpauses, pauses, unpauses, pauses, and finally unpauses and he collectes a refill. It's a nice trick. And why can't you download/watch movies in Snes9x?
You can do that on the console if you're close enough, can't you? Gives you at least three more seconds to live. It's probably illegal in speedruns. <_<
I don't see why should it be illegal in speedruns.
I've done the pause screen abuse lik 2-3 times in a row in real-time, but I guess it's too random to apply in a speedrun. It would look cool in a unassisted run though. :P
Well, I have to agree here. I think dying would have to constitute going all the way to the game over screen. If you can prevent that, then it should be "legal."
Sorry, I'm thinking too fast here, but I just wanted to say, "Wassup."
Dang, I missed out on a lot. Congrat's on the X-Ray, but I feel betrayed by Saturn. I'll do some testing later.
