Thats not a bad thing at all. First' it's a sign that Retro want more time, second, the game will get so much better, and we have a new Zelda anyway, that atleast I, will first complete to 100%, then replay several times. So no problem for me!
looks like they want mp3 to be truly good and surpass mp1.
that's good. there's TP for this year.
the bad thing is that now i see little reason to buy the Wii at launch since i can get TP on GC and i'm not interested in the other games. let's see what they put on VC...
Something else. The new "Expert" control mode was tested out during the New York conference.

As we played a new single-level demo of the Prime 3 at Nintendo's Wii event in New York City, the game's designers came upon and told us that we absolutely needed to try the new "expert" control mode. They explained that they hoped it would satisfy our cravings for first-person maneuverability similar to a mouse and keyboard configuration in FPSs on the PC platform. We started up a new level where heroine Samus Aran explores a vast space station and immediately switched to expert mode. We're happy to report that it simulates the accuracy of PC first-person shooters almost perfectly, and we found ourselves soaring through levels, zipping around corners, pulling quick turns and zapping down enemies with pinpoint precision without seconds. Simply put, Retro has nailed it - and it makes the wait to 2007 for the game that much more difficult. We're not kidding when we write that Prime 3 feels like a brand new game with this control.
Anybody else agree with something I remember saying a few weeks ago? That Corruption seems to be trying to combine both Prime and Fusion into one game? (Still sounds wierd when I describe it like that... )
Expert mode seems... interesting compared to how fast Samus moves in both Prime and Echoes. (Not that I'm against Expert mode: I think it's great to include that level of control into the game.) But it looks like we're going to need it in this one, with how hectic the battles sound.
Like I said in the other topic, I'm thankful for the delay. Will make Zelda more fun and will also give MP3 a hopefully brand new feel. I'm still holding out hope. I don't think this'll be like all the other FPSs: I'm thinking it'll give the game even more of a science fictionlike feel.
I assume everybody has already seen these (especially the long one)? That's right, here comes Fusion gameplay part 2. :| If they're going to make those missions kinda separate from each other, then I suppose no sequence breaking will be possible there. I still hope I'm wrong, though.
unless they go the Fusion route and give you the "level 1 hatches unlocked" when you reach something out of order, i see Corruption having some sequence breaks at least in Echoes level.
btw, haven't you noticed how they are re-using a lot of audio from echoes? it almost felt like an additional area hidden in Echoes..
they also used the prime 1 music for all the early echoes promo stuff. iirc the chozo ruins music was playing in torvus. pretty weird looking back on it now.

If they will have the entire game divided into missions, it could potentially be even more linear than Fusion, unless you can return to the previous locations at your own will.
