If you freeze a Ki-hunter and blow its frozen body with a power bomb, its wings will stay in air, until after a few seconds, they disappear.
The "shells" of the metroids are blinking quite rapidly. Since you were playing on an emulator (I assume, you said it was a rom, which an original cart technically would be as well) it could simply be a problem with frame skip.
I remember hearing somewhere that if you set a bomb and then grapple beam onto a grapple point, and the bomb explodes on you, the resulting animation is rather interesting. There is one place where you can actually do it, but I cant seem to remember.

I think I saw a video on that glitch, Samus' tiles get raped.. kinda looks like a colored "MissingNo."
Yeah, that's in the glitch FAQ at GameFAQs.  It happens because the game has no idea what to do with Samus's sprite, so it becomes a jumble.

Oh, and one of the best places to do it is that long, enemy-lit hallway before the X-Ray Scope.
Crazy. Being normally scatterbrained, I also forgot yet another thing that I had found myself by a fluke.

Charge your beam. Press down twice to go into Morph Ball.

It scatters several bombs all over, I think about 5. While standing on a recharge/map/etc station and doing such, the bombs have no idea where to go, so it makes em kinda bounce in one place.
Yeah, I think most people know about that.  It does remind me of something, though.  In some speedrun or another (probably smokey's low%; I have not watched that in a while) the runner goes into morph ball and maintains the charge without disabling the bombs first.  How is that accomplished? (I might have misseen whatever happened, too.)
Embarrasing Fact: Power suit made by lowest bidder
If you hold down and fire, you will keep the charge while in ball form. This will charge the bomb spread, though, and when you finally release a bomb spread the bombs will move faster. You can only charge it for so long until the game automatically releases a bomb spread though. If you disable the bomb though, the bomb spread won't charge, and you won't lose the beam charge. You can then use jump to stand up and have a charge beam ready, assuming you have the spring ball unequipped.

This trick makes fighting Ridley much easier in a low percent run.
Yeah, the charge spread is old, but what's fun is when you use it on a recharge station (well, don't remember if there's a specific type that it works for). ;)
It's so old it's included in the player's guide. :P  The bomb spread on the recharge station is in Brickroad's Glitch FAQ posted at GameFAQs, which should be required reading for anyone intending to post in this topic.  A lot of things have been found since 2002, of course, but the last few posted in this thread are in it.
Whoa. As in, WHOA.

As soon as you get the Plasma Beam, you can go right up to the surface and beat the game. I found this out purely by accident, when I was trying to pull off the Reset Glitch. As you can see, I beat the game in 1:23 with the glitch, and it wasn't even a speed run. It was just an "I'm bored" run.

This glitch should make things a lot easier, because now it is entirely unnecessary to even go past Maridia.

I used an NTSC rom for this. You'll need a valid Super Metroid rom and an emulator (I used ZSNES) to see the video.

a glitch or warp that mostly happens on emulators because there are dieffrent memory handlings to the SNES it self ;)

Ah, I see. And I tried it out on my speed run, and it failed and the emu crashed.
By the way, is this the glitch you're talking about?  If so, it's been known for quite a while.
i am like out of map :(  and i see power bomb door parts above me Shocked  well it might be a secret world...... Shocked  i used the var beam in crocmire's room when i entered the room left first. then when in next room samus's head was out but the rest of her was in the ground  Shocked  i could jump out shock:  Shocked  i then went back to crocmire's room and i appered off map.. where the save station supposed to be Shocked

Uh, if you're saved there, you're basically stuck, unless you can do a very hard glitch. :?
I did that too. But nothing really can happen there, other than dying due to the lava. :|
there was no save point there Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked
There is an actual save point below the green block you made.

If he saved in the ACTUAL save station in the green area, then he's in trouble.
The red and grey areas are one screen BELOW where you really are. If you jump all the way to the right, you'll stop. Since Crocy is alive the wall isn't missing, forcing you to reset, or if you saved, the X-ray trick, OR restart the run.
You see I used a secret game genie code that lets you save nywhere and i saved in the secret world  :(  Rolling Eyes  why won't anyone help? Rolling Eyes

You just answered your own question.
Because 1) it's pretty impossible to answer when you've used both codes and a severe glitch to mess with the game, 2) no one owes you an answer anyway, and 3) you never actually asked a question.
