Lets see, after reading page three, i can concure a few things:

- Nintendo would be smarter to release TP on the Revolution
- I might never buy a PS3 until maybe the PS4 comes out, due to insanely high pricing.
- Several people on this forum speak before they think Wink

And finally i would say that i might not be buying the PS3 as my next gen console, just the Revolution!

And i probably will be buying TP as my first ever Zelda game.

(Seems pretty unrealistic dont it?)

I will have to disagree with that, as it looks right now Zelda is what they're going to have up against the other next gen consoles.
And Super Smash Bros Rev. will definitely be a good enough start to get the sales going once Revolution will be released.

I wonder what's coming out on November 15 (they always release something big on that date). I think it's the fifteenth, anyway.

You seriously have a good point, Soap. This could very well be a sort of April Fool's joke, and if it is, that would be flickerbatting hilarious. And I wouldn't be surprised at all.

They do? I thought they just used that as a "filler" date when they did not know the release date. If something is just given a release date of Q4, places that do not use vague release dates (like GameFAQs, for instance) will plug it in at halfway through the quarter (which would be November 15).

No clue if that actually has been a big release date in the past since I have no idea as to where I would look it up.

I am aware that Sony is going to be releasing Ratchet: Deadlocked on the 14th of November. And that pkmn XD: GoD comes out on the 3rd of October.

And hopefully... pkmn d/p comes out in March of 06.

Anyway, some people are thinking Sony's bluffing with the PS3 price, and I'm sure it's not the first time that fake-outs like that have happened, so I wouldn't be too surprised if it comes out for the holidays.

Just as long as they play it smart, and, y'know, tell somebody (unlike Sega with the Saturn).

I would, though. It just doesn't make sense to postpone the release date just to bring it back to the previous one later on.

I dont know, but i've been thinking its a little weird myself too. I mean, sure, i'm all up for wating, but think about it: They said for the longest time, 'its going to be out holiday '05, its going to be out Holiday'05...', and then they tell us this. They've had contests to see who would get the first copy of the game, and then this happens. The demo feels polished and finished, and the graphics look like they could jump off the stinking screen, and then this happens. There are already thousands of pre-orders...and then this happens. If they were so sure one month ago that they could finished this thing by Nov, then what could they possibly be adding that takes another five months to accomplish?

I do not recall them ever saying it that… I do not know… assuredly. They said it would be out Q4 2005, sure, but you make it sound like they were much more forceful in their statement of that.

Hmm, i guess those are better points, but on a better note, yes, they have had a contest to see who would get the first copies of TP. It was in the August version of Nintendo Power, i believe. I really wanted to enter in it, but i missed the deadline. Darn it.
