I think the Oracle games' Link is probably Link 4, and I have no idea about the FS/A Link(s?).  The ones above are all officially stated in manuels or at their web page or something.

NoA's website once managed to wind Link through every single Zelda game. (This was before Wind Waker came out and bitch-slapped that theory to the graveyard.) They used Link tinkering around with time en masse in a different dimension as an excuse to misalign the times and have Link come back in time for LttP. (Which incidentally alleives (I can't get that word into a form a spell checker will recognize (nested parenthesis rock!)) somewhat the "Now wait a minute..." quality of OoT's ending.)

They also had LA taking place IN THE MIDDLE of L2.

So anyway, teh webpage != canon, at least NoA's. I'm thinking the Zelda series' canon is intentionally vauge and unrestrictive, just like the Mario series. The Zelda series just connects to other games plot-wise a lot more often, although always in sort of a passing, distorted way. Which is just like a legend, really.
Hmm.  Well, I know that the manuels for LA and AoL both stated that they were sequels with the same Link as the game before them.  And seriously, if you can't infer that MM's Link is the same as OoT's Link, you need help.

Well, yeah, I wasn't doubting that. I just wanted to tell the story, pretty much.
As far as I'm concerned, you have two systems:

The Holy Scripture of Zelda Version
1.  A Link to the Past
2.  Link's Awakening
3.  The Legend of Zelda
4.  Adventure of Link

Someone Give Miyamoto His Vitamin R! Version
1.  Ocarina of Time
2.  The Minish Cap
3.  Link's Awakening
4.  Majora's Mask
5.  Spy Hunter

7.  Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas

There we go.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Take that vile excuse for a Zelda or Starfox game (Whatever it's supposed to be) out of my sight!

Heh, I personally LOVED that game. But maybe that's just me. Probably.

Bleah.  Stuck it in randomly.  Words cannot express how much I despise that game.  Gorgeous graphics and not a quark's worth of gameplay.

What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Dude, a quark...  that's harsh.  And I don't even like the game.
Time bomb set get out fast!
Is gameplay even quantized?  If so, are we sure it's made up of quarks?  I'll grant that emulator gameplay comes in quarks....
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Well, points for the ATTEMPT to stay on topic.

The new director of the Zelda games (don't recall his name atm) said in an interview that they're going to make an effort to link (hahahahahahhahahhahahahhaa, oh mercy) the plots of all the games together and establish a firm timeline. Of course it can't all happen right away, as they need to make a boatload of in-between games, but I'd like to see it happen eventually.

By the by, he also stated that they're probably going to make Four Swords GBA the first in the series. That was before Minish Cap, so Minish Cap is the FIRST EVER ZELDA! AGAIN!

I'd link that interview, but I have no idea where the heck it was.
