No... Adam having the capability to contact samus out of the Navigation Rooms would probably end up as a piece of shit...

Plus there would be the matter of real-timing anything that involved SA-X revelations (or the 'troids themselves).  The "Open the doors*!" dynamics would be messed up a bit, too.

It looks more like a detector, like the one in MII:RoS...
Maybe there were supposed to have metroids somewhere... Or it just detects other thing...
Also, on youtube there is the first footage for Fusion, the one that had GBC graphics...

Yeah.. It's Kirby music...but if you listen closely it comes from the background... also if you browse through the suggestions at the end of the video, you'll find MZM beta footage(samus looks so retro xD)
