Club 27 Goals

so wayyyyy back in February when I was just really getting into FiM some people were posting pictures of these little tiny two-inch-high figures. This was back before I had the mcdonalds toy or even THOUGHT about one day wanting pony toys, but I liked the little figures because they were really small and could fit in your pocket easily.

Fast forward to mid August. I still didn't have those figures, but I DID have all the brushables, mcdonalds, 5 pack plastic set, the two key chains, three fashion style ponies, a few clay ponies, and various stickers. But I made sure to fix all that earlier.

Here's the front of the box, comes with the mane cast (yes that yellow thing is fluttershy) as well as a few random ponies. those will be used as bases for repainting into background ponies later on.

god this camera is terrible. It also never flipped it no matter how many times I saved it. On the back of the box is shows all of the special ponies it came with along with the main cast and their names. Rainbow Wish, the rainbowdash recolor is actually pretty cool. I also like how "Peachy Pie" is the name of the recolored Pinkie Pie.

so after all these months I finally have the original toys I wanted. Huzah.

was waiting to see if maybe one of you guys would mention that. god his face expressions and what he does with the body movements and pupils is great, only met one other person who sees it the same way I do and she's really into it as well. Which is funny because she told me how she hates gore but she doesn't mind "dark" things, but for whatever reason she loves that blog.

Her and I actually talked about doing a sort-of video series thing out of those comics since he sets them up so that when you close one and the other is behind it it's already lines up nicely. We'd just need some good voices.

Like, dark and disturbing stuff like that isn't my thing on a good day, but I genuinely like Fluttershy so that post was a bit more disconcerting for me than the usual stuff on the blog.

Even more so than the squicky Pinkie/Scootaloo kiss.

I think part of the reason why I'm not disturbed with his stuff, but still disgruntled with cupcakes, is because I know he does this kind of stuff jokingly. Maybe if it wasn't set up so that it was as if Pinkie was running the blog and was JUST comics about pinkamena doing evil things then yeah I wouldn't really enjoy it either. But the whole thing just feels like it's goofy and not to be taken seriously. The Pinkie/Scoot kiss just reinforces that for me.

I can see why other people wouldn't like it though, not saying everyone should or even that liking it is the "right" thing.

fun fact, this was drawn by an animator during her break time cause she was bored. The stuff on pinkie is just ketchup don't worry.

Even as a joke it does lean into weird fetishistic territory a little too much for my tastes.

And yeah I'm 100% certain if you look through any animators piles of sketches you'd find some fucking bizarre shit because they have to draw a character a billion times a day so they might as well make them do ridiculous shit for the sake of variety.

I remember some stuff by Bruce Trimm from Batman the Animated Series fame got posted on the internet and it was pretty much just pages upon pages of Harley/Ivy porn.

Please don't post examples of that from MLP animators.

I actually think I would have found that blog to be pretty funny like five years ago though. My interest in "dark" stuff has trailed off quite a bit over the years.

don't worry, all the animators have made it pretty clear that they aren't into that kind of stuff. Even if they were and they DID draw that kind of stuff, I wouldn't be the wiser about it since the places I follow have a pretty much zero tolerance for porn of any kind.

Hahaha wouldn't surprise me at all. To be fair if I had to draw Mickey Mouse all day every day I'd probably start drawing big floppy dicks on him just to avoid completely losing my mind.

actually, the animators don't actually draw anything really. Since MLP is totally all made in flash once they just get all the character stuff done they use flash for the rest.

yeah whenever I get around to getting a laptop I'll need to use one of those. Pretty enough to be a real wallpaper, with just enough pony to not be too obvious.

This was made by the same guy that made that Rarity archery comic with the rose. Apparently he has a nice paragraph at the end as a comment explaining it a bit more. I'll see if I can dig up that Rarity one since it might be cool to see what he had to say for that one.

Most would be content with this triumphant moment, but for Rainbow Dash there was no down in her life. The fear of falling from the top is too great and even keeps her up at nights, ignoring nap time in favor of thinking up new moves, anything to keep from falling..."

"Rarity, while not as powerful a unicorn as Twilight, possesses something far greater in skill in her ability to focus and concentrate her magic on much more nimble tasks. Using small finer points of magic, she can manipulate multiple items and tools at once while crafting her dresses, demonstrating the enormous dextrous control she has over her magic.

On a clear day, if her schedule permits it, she'll venture out at dawn to the clear plains beyond the forests outside Ponyville to practice one of her favorite stress relief hobbies. Archery is a guilty pleasure for Rarity: a thrilling activity, but not at all as barbaric a sport as some Rainbow or Applejack partake in. She considers it to be fairly similar to sewing really, only now she's using a much bigger needle and she's aiming at a small round target instead of stitches. Over the years she's become remarkable good at it, and it shows. At times she's even amazed at how simply she can "thread" arrows through one another, from great distances no less. She'll also add her own little "touch ups" to the game too, not being one to forget artistic license. In the end, she'll come back feeling just as rejuvenated as with any day at the spa center, and returns to her more or less humbler duties."
