true..... one question, is charged missile stronger than charge beam? or stronger than regular missile? or does it even make a difference when killing stuff?
I think charged plasma beam combos are the strongest thing in the arsenal, even stronger than supers. Could be wrong.
...Hey hold on, the charged spazer beam plus flare does a bit more than the charged ice beam plus flare in one frame.
But yeah, it looks like once you get charge beam, it's already better than missiles. Then you get super missiles, and the only boss it's best against is BO-X. They're useless against Mega-X apparently, and the boss after that is an eye-core-X that upgrades your beam to the strongest 1-frame attack in the game (including flare).
Anything special about the beam you get from BO-X360? I thought it did more damage, but apparently not. I mean sure, it goes through solid objects, but still...meh, it is more useful at least.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that wide beam would have been a much better weapon against Nightmare. As for wave beam, it has more flare damage and PSA damage, it also has a bigger hitbox
And Knight, there's no Phazon-resisting capacity in the SA-X's suit. The SA-X has Power and Varia. Gravity didn't carry over from Super Metroid, and Samus lost Phazon at the end of Metroid Prime. The only components the SA-X had that Samus didn't when she absorbed it were the Ice Beam and the Power Suit.
Well, there is kind of a reason you could say that the last fusion suit has phazon capability because when you hook up metroid fusion to metroid prime when you have the phazon suit, you get the last fusion. But thats probably not a good reason
Agreed. It's like saying all blue tunics give you extra defense. Just because that color does so in a couple games doesn't make it universally true. :^\
