Is it possible to go through Hard/HyperMode difficulty without the Dark Suit?
Why wouldn't it be? As far as I know, dark world damage doesn't change with difficulty, and even if it did, you can probably just compensate with more e-tanks

You might be thinking of acid rain in mp3, where it actually does LESS damage in hypermode difficulty.

It's not the Atmosphere of Dark Aether I'm worried about--more like bosses like Quadraxis. XD
Doesn't really matter. You can beat quad with 4 e-tanks (less is almost definitely possible) in normal mode without dark suit; you can have up to 9-10 at that point if you want

I don't know if this has been asked, but how do you beat the Emperor Ing on Hypermode? I figured out one phase 1: Annihilator Beam on Tentacles (Seeker Missiles if running low on Ammo), then Light Beam charged shots at the core, or Super Missiles (Super Missiles seem to do a lot more damage).

Phase 2: Recover energy and ammo while on the Chrysalis. Unfortunately, I found if I take too long, then the purple smoke rises permanently to the top. I had to quickly kill off all the tentacles, and I lost a lot of energy that I had recovered (was up to 13 Energy Tanks when the mist hit the top).

Final Phase: I got murdered. The multiple light beams are hard to dodge and when hit, I'm stuck being blasted by all of them, massively dropping my health. I've using Super Missiles on his yellow core, but I can't seem to get damage in on the dark core or the light! Help? Also, does the Screw Attack still work in the Trilogy version? And if so, how do I Screw Attack his core?

the SA trick doesn't work on trilogy, so you'll have to use the hard strat.

EI3 is probably the hardest of the final bosses in all of the games in hypermode in trilogy. the SA trick makes a massive difference since the method to down him normally is pretty slow and he moves a lot.

what i do is shoot uncharged annihilator at the core after it is vulnerable since annihilator affects it whether it is light or dark and the homing makes it more likely to hit. you'll spend a lot of ammo like this so you'll have to dodge a lot until he calls his little enemies and you get the chance to get more ammo.
I personally use super missiles on his neutral mode, charged light shots on his dark mode, and uncharged annihilator on his light mode (cuz lol good luck on hitting him with dark beam)
Does anyone have any tips on hitting that ghetto jump to get off the map for early PBs?

Hold L the entire time, and you likely have to start the ghetto jump earlier than you think. Jump before you hit the tree, but late enough so that you press against it right after you start the jump, for the ghetto effect.

Delay your second jump and use it after you bypass the first tree trunk. When trying to land on the rock, aim for its left edge since the left side of the rock is slightly lower.

try to hit B on your first jump right when you hit the first slope, its probably like 1-6 frames before you have contact with it. (so probably like a 5 frame window? im not sure it seems to be very precise so its pretty difficult...)

It seems that "earlier than you think" is a common trait of ghetto jumps because that's what T3 told me with the SW14 (I think IBBF is 14...) ghetto in MP1.

Anyways, time to get to work on landing this thing. Thanks for the tips I'll keep them in mind.
Well you need to make sure that you're moving horizontally when you press B for your first jump; if you're leaning against the wall already before jumping, then you're not moving horizontally and you're not really gonna get height in many cases.
Yeah that makes perfect sense.

well yeah, running against a wall/slope obviously kills your momentum.

can someone tell me how much faster rolling with the morph ball actually is than going while holding L? i'd really like to know exactly how big the difference is, also how much slower is the morphing/unmorphing animation compared to going while holding L?

can you do this SW shown here  (skip to 3:05:00)
backwarts? i would really apprechiate that, if someone could figure that out for me, i was considering to use the instant morph SW there to get out of bounds from the lower part and getting up to chykka from there would defenetly be to somehow load the room above you.
would like to see someone post me a video how you load the above room and trigger the chykka fight.
thanks

You're force loading the room instead of letting it load first. That will happen every time there unless you find a spot outside the map where it will load the next room. You can always ceiling warp in after which I've found to be much easier in certain places. A good technique I've learned for knowing when the next room is loading/loaded is to listen to your game system. It always makes "thinking" noises when it's loading another room so I just look for a spot where you can "stand" on outside the map more often towards the half where you're trying to load te adjacent room and 99% of the time I get it to work there are the few rooms that are a pain to load but at least this way is a sign that you're doing it right. At least for me anyways

yeah; abahbob already told me where the loading trigger is; its pretty fast to touch it, so thats pretty nice and comfy for the route.

Does anyone have advice for getting OoB on Sand digger? I used to be able to do it really consistently using the method ItsPersonnal used, but I can't find a video of that. And I can't seem to remember how to do that, because if I could, I'd be OoB right now.

EDIT: So, doing sand digger blind was fun. That wall crawl is supposed to take an hour, right? Also, someone tell me why my game crashed when I entered the DS1 fight.
Getting OoB for sandigger is just grinding, I have no idea how to really explain it =/ I used to have a crapton of trouble with it until it clicked from a crapton of practice.

A few things to know about sandigger though:

1. It's probably easier to kill off a head immediately then back off until it goes back underground, so you won't have to bother timing when to kill the head. Slower, but easier.
2. The timing that it stops charging is determined the moment it starts charging. This means that you want to be in the right position until it starts charging, then you can start moving without affecting its stopping position.
3. Using the two circular shadows on the floor helps as a visual cue. I personally stand roughly in the bottom-left area of the right circular shadow, instead of directly in between the two shadows. I guess it depends on what you do.
Alright, I'll keep that stuff in mind.

Also, I just soft locked during spider skip. Is there a secret trick to make sure I never accidentally SA OoB? Because that would be really helpful. I had such a good quad fight/grapple pirate luck, too.
Never, ever press B after your space jump until you're in aether (or on a standable spot, but you better know if you're on it before pressing B again)
Oh yeah, one other thing. If I want to learn how to do the Chykka fight with 50 ammo, are there any good videos? I figure I should just go look at a run you or Miles or MrSpeedrun did, but knowing which runs had good Chykka fights in them would be helpful.
