I enjoy finding all kinds of crap on ebay, esp. weird metroid & zelda stuff.  Some of it is pretty cool.  Post your cool, kooky, or otherwise noteworthy ebay finds here.

a samus made with beads!  It's described as 8-bit but looks like 16-bit to me:

a cool zelda NES mod:

I definitely wouldn't mind owning this cool 2-cd prime/fusion soundtrack:

I'm currently selling my graphic card, does anyone want one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280358999625

This is my first time selling stuff on ebay.

Edit: I have already sold out, sorry.
With zero feedback and such a high STARTING bid I doubt anyone will bid on your auction.  I'm not saying the thing isn't worth that much, but just to get the bids going you should definitely have a much lower starting bid.  Or, you could just set a buy-it-now price for what you would take for it.

Ok, I just lowered the starting price. Is it good enough to get it started?
To be sure you should check out your competition and see what other auctions for the same item are offering.  If yours is the only one with that kind of starting bid then you need to go lower.  Also, you absolutely must have the words 'video card' or 'graphics card' in your title or else the only people who will be able to find your auction will be ones who use 'Evga Geforce 9800 GTX+' or portion thereof when they do a search.

I have corrected and I found it on a search. I think my price is low enough for most competition. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, it's one of the biggest incentives for bidders.  I used to work with a guy who started every single bid at £1, no matter what the item was.  I rarely heard of him not getting interest, and certainly not making a sale.
Wow, $700 for a samus action-figure is a little steep.  Those usually go between $150 - $200

Samus porn?!  Her ass is deformed, one cheek is way bigger than the other.

I already own this item and I can assure you it has NOTHING to do with Bionicle or Lego.  What a douchebag.

For only $650-$1000, you too can dress up in a Wolf-Link costume!

Hmm..apparently Link's Awakening was called 'Dream Island' in Japan.  I didn't know that.

I have ebay days where I search and search for cool stuff for hours, never buying. I only buy when I know what I want.

If I had the money I would TOTALLY bid on that, but meh I owe 160$ =\

Some tips: Put more info about the card in the description, pull info off of the official website. Also a reason why you're selling, such as "Selling because I got a new graphics card" but not something like "Selling because it kept getting too hot and crashing".

Good luck!

Also, just curious, why are you selling it?

The reason why I'm selling this because I bought a new graphic card called Radeon HD 4890 to replace GeForce 9800 gtx+.
I don't think it's really necessary to give a specific reason for selling it, just assert that it works great.  You're biggest challenge in selling this item is your zero feedback score.  Typically one might wish to build up feedback by purchasing several items before getting into selling anything.  This is why I stress sweetening the pot a little bit by going with a zero starting bid and free shipping, but that's just me.

Samus porn?!

Yes. Unfortunately.

Otherwise people get suspicious it's stolen or doesn't work.
So far, I got 2 bids and 18 Watchers at 1 days and 7 hours left. With this many watchers, I think I will get a lot of bids at the last few hours.

Time to make some cash!

Did you set up one of those minimum bid thingys? (like if the last bid is at 80$ and you set the minimum for 85$ it doesn't get sold? I forget what it's called.)

Those minimum bids are called reserve and I didn't use reserve. Hopefully, I'll make some cash.

The auction has finally end and I just sold my graphic card to a person named Paulzarr. Since he lived very close to my location, he came to my house and picked it up. He told me that he'll leave me with positive feedback.

Edit: Because he pays for shipping, but he picked it up at my house, I'm getting an ebay bugs. For some reason, the selling reminders is still up and if I click one of that link, it will just redirect to the same page, not going anywhere. I'm not sure how to fix that.

I would have bid on it if I had the money, good deal =(

Oh well, as long as you got it sold for a decent price that's good.
I'm currently selling another stuff on ebay. This time, I'm selling it as a bundle. What do you think of this one?
red chamber dream
why are you not specific with what you're selling? what type of "mp3/mp4 players" are they?
i would never bid in an auction without knowing what i'm buying.

The difference between mp3 and mp4 is that mp4 plays video. There are two types of media players I'm currently selling. One is that it looked like mini ipod shuffle, but it's not an ipod and the other one is just mp4 player, no brand. I have updated my description, thanks!
