Oh yes, Mechwarriors 2: Mercenaries was an amazing game. In fact, it used to be the only game I played, back when I was 5-6 years old. It was really the game that got me hooked on video games, and I was sorry to see our old Windows 98 go (it was in danger of exploding randomly).

Seriously though, every couple of weeks, I decide the time is right to spend hours and hours trying to find a way to put it on my Windows XP. As soon as I can get it on my laptop, I'll be in business.

By the way, what's up with everyone using Image Enhancers in these games?!? I always thought that polygonal lines took away from the experience a little. . . maybe it's just me. . .
Yo.
I played Kirby and The Amazing Mirror last night, and I worked my butt off to beat the Boss Endurance mode. I got nothing from it. A big, fat, nothing. I did get to tell my brother not to delete the savefile I beat it on, since he wanted to play it immediately afterwards (just in case I lost something. laugh new)

Also, Nightmare at 1% isn't really a Nightmare. His flight pattern after you hit him in the face a few times is troubling me, though. Just enough for me to shake my fist in the air, and go, "Curse you, Nightmare!"

Portal. I'm suffering excessive lag playing this. At Testchamber 16 (the one with all the machine guns).

I used to run Oblivion on my laptop, but it was really laggy, but since I got it on the PS3 and experienced it working fine, I'm determined to get Orange Box on PS3

Beat World Of Goo just now. My tower's at 21.0 m using 165 balls.
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
Forgot to mention earlier that, after ark's mentioning it, I have just finished another 100% playthrough of Drill Dozer! aiwebs_011

1. I agree with your point. I was kind of dissed when The Titanium Trilogy was based on Mercs too much. Changing the environments that make them look a little choppy and weapon charts (and overpowering Medium Pulse Lasers, although they're awesome). Exploding Windows 98? What, the circuits were going to suddenly fry?

2. I would tell you of a Tech Support Site meant for MechWarrior 2, but that qualifies under advertising. PM me for help.

3. Without Image Enhancing, you're a lame goose. On NetMech (either Kali or DOS), the radar/target sensors are usually turned off, so the wireframe is the only way that tells you how much damage you're dealing on them. Also, it serves a backup system when sensors and night vision are disabled.

No it doesn't.

That's actually useful for people, not random "Check dis site d00dz!!" crap..

Also, I just started playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

Yeah, it's p. good.
Persona 4. And I'm still troubled by how awesome this game actually is.

Yes. Exactly. I think sparks flying from the fan might count as "hazardous"?

EDIT: Also, to your Image Enhancer point, Meh. I think it's a lot more fun if the game doesn't look like a line rider variant. But that's just me.

It can't be helped.  I'm continually fighting the urge to replay it so soon, since I know I'll ruin the game for myself if I just play it too much.  There's so much I want to do, though!

Fortunately, watching the
Christmas Eve dates
on youtube is helping curb the feeling somewhat, since one of my main goals next time is to make every girlfriend, after "going steady" with Rise (kind of on accident) my first playthrough.

Really wish they'd release P4 for something other than an ancient console. I want to play it, but I don't want to dig out my PS2 and bring it back to school with me. Three consoles there is plenty.
take out  a mortgage on a PS3? :D

Oh, that part was on purpose.  The accident was that I didn't end up with any other girlfriends, since there were only a couple others I liked enough that I would've made them my girlfriends: Fortune and Moon.  Unfortunately, I gave a wrong answer earlier on Fortune and didn't get the option, and I never even finished Moon.

World of Goo progress:

- Chapter 1, fully OCD'd. Hang Low OCD was hilarious, I can't believe it took me so long to figure out the method. Ode to the Bridge Builder, however, forced me to peek at a YouTube video because I came too close way too many times and it was getting annoying.

- Chapter 2, fully OCD'd. Not a lot of trouble, thankfully!

- Chapter 3, only 3 levels done, all OCD'd so far. Loved the skull Goo!

- World of Goo Corporation: got all 300 Goo possible for the tower. Will try to build it later.
Look, witty text!
I'm playing Sim City 4 and Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song.  In the latter, I'm on my second playthrough, playing as this Aisha chick.

I just got a new computer and I can finally run gamecube emulator on my PC. Can we finally TAS the gamecube yet?

I'm playing Tetris DS at the moment, I've almost beaten my previous high score (2,125,033), I think I'll take a break for now.
Yo.
Playing n+ at the moment. Beaten 30 episodes already, and gosh this game is tough. Neutral

My high score on Marathon Endless is 3,018,913. I think I broke the line and level counters in the process. =3
Also, (nobody cares) but I come up with the weirdest ideas playing Tetris alone. You could call it a source of inspiration.
Mister ...
My sister was in a Zelda mood, so now I've got the urge to play through everything on the Zelda Collector's Disk.  I'm helping my sister with OoT, since it's my least favorite game of the bunch.  Started Majora's Mask, but it froze up before I could save.  Started playing Zelda II, but I lost my last life at Horse-Head, so I rage-quit.  I might just end up playing through Zelda 1 instead.  :P

Last time I checked they didn't have support for save states or slowdown (which really makes TAS possible).

Anyway only a few games are really supported. Didn't think that Prime or Prime 2 were supported (which are the 2 games that will define gamecube TAS imo).

Anyway finished playing Chrono Trigger (went for the "main ending + all side quests"). Fun game. Long game. Definitely worth playing again. Now looking for some other good rpgs.

It has save state now, as shown in the picture below, but it still doesn't have TAS recording yet.

I did checked online and they say it supported. You can find out from this link. http://www.dolphin-emu.com/list.php

My sister is in mood for Zelda too. She liked Twilight Princess the best.

Wow that video was pretty sweet. It is to bad that we aren't at full speed. *crosses fingers for gc emulation development*
