Water shouldn't affect your wall jumping after you're out of it. The only thing I can think of close to what you're trying to say is what happens when you enter a dry room from a wet room, if you don't set the doors/fx1 properly, you can sometimes have underwater physics even though there's no water. This is caused by the door transition iirc, so maybe I'm just not understanding you.
Anyway, i don't think you need walljumping skills to hack SM, though if you plan on making trailers, a really nice, polished trailer tends to look better. Regardless, I'll play it when it comes out.
Geez, if or when I decide to do some hacks myself I will definately back up my work just in case something happens unexpectedly. Sorry to hear your project has to start over. I hope you never give up so Zeon can be released some day. I look forward to it.
You'd think people would already be using backups by now given how much people have talked about it
Well, a lot of people usually aren't doing things that will break their hack. Right now I have almost 80 backups and have yet to revert to a single one. I'm just paranoid, but for most people I think it takes a scare before they realize how necessary keeping backups is.
yeah, be (slightly)paranoid. save a backup every time you start hacking. It will save you many times if you don't yet know right from wrong yet in SM hacking.
Really? I just see one where the dark tiles are, and a few in the pipe room, like pipes just ending suddenly, with no actual end, and that corner there.
that looks awesome. did you change all the colors, or is that the fx1 changing the colors? also, the elevator should go to an even darker cavern. or a norfair lookin' place.
That's a nice piece of graphics work... Most people generally don't mess with the save rooms/elevator rooms etc. Still, that looks fairly natural, except for the symmetry. Maybe move one of them over one-two tiles?
Here is the demo version go ahead and try it out tell me what i should change and add Thank you and have fun with it :-D. oh yha in the room where you get the missiles dont go through the door part
Hmm.. I got stuck between two platforms in the first room pretty damn quick. I like the level design so far. where's morph ball?
EDIT: I got stuck again to the right of the crumble block above morph ball
EDIT2: That was short. there were a lot of tiling errors (eg. falling through tiles that should be air solid) and there were too many unchanged rooms. other than that, this hack is good. it has potential. :D
