Got a new computer, and all I need now is a copy of Windows XP (I refuse to use vista). Then I can set up boot camp and I will have several hours between my classes every week to get back to hacking.
Does this mean you are completely healthy again? I agree completely about XP of Vista too.
Does the 80-85% refer to the whole hack being almost complete except for the music, or you have 80-85% of the map/rooms done plus the music? (Unless of course the music is done.)
Music's still sort of the "thing I want to deal with last" to be honest. The 85% figure refers to level design.
I'm not really sure if I'm truly healthy (still have some residual symptoms and we still don't know what was wrong in the first place) but I'm living a normal life again. Can't really ask for more than that.

I'm still working on Aegis, it's just nothing interesting to report. It's done when it's done. I don't want to post any more screenshots because I'd like at least a little bit of what's been done to be a surprise. I feel I already put out too much in terms of screenshots and videos.
It's been a month since the last post... things have been really slowing down. Which is sad, I have (and many other people too) have been waiting for this hack!
Waiting's.... excruciating, but we'll survive! (I need to find a Super Metroid ROM anyways, they're so damn hard to find)

Aegis is still alive. I've decided, yet again, to add more to it. I'm not sure when I'm going to stop, honestly. I know I have to eventually let it go but I'm such a perfectionist. Anyway, I'm still working on it, and life is finally at a pace where I can afford to have a little "me" time again. Hopefully you guys will see me around more often.

I know exactly what you mean. I used to do alot of writing and I used to edit and rewrite so many parts. Trouble is that I was never quite sure if I was really improving it or just being a perfectionist. I've heard that painters go through that too. They keep dabbing on paint trying to get things a certain way when it looked best the first time around. Let's see...what else can i say to make you just release the damn game already....KIDDING of course.

Blackhole89 took some cracks on the music while you where gone BTW. If you are interested in learning you should try and contact him. You won't find any one who knows more of the SNES N-SPC beside nintendo.

I just hope you've finished this hack by the time I'm done with Pokemon platinum, learning how to waveshine consistently in Melee, platform cancelled missiles, SWD, and some other misc Melee stuff that will take forever to master.
