uhm heres a really small one-right at the very beginning of the game... is it faster to dash? it really seems like i compared it to miles segment 1 it was far slower... but i played pretty crappy and yeah i guess its a faster strat if you do it better. video:
[also you can add a instant morph there which is faster like i done here for sure 'cause you can boost faster there (but its really random).] well it would be really funny if noone ever thought of this before
well... this is a really hard it requires two horrible ghetto jumps and one perfect scan dash.... so i decided to split it up its only useful for a no ILS speedrun.
I remember that jump -- that's the bomb jump I used in my no-space-jump run from a long time back to get to the first Dark Agon save by bomb-jumping off one of those ing caches without falling afterward (2007). All that to say, it's been known for a long time.
well uhm this is taken from a testrun im currently working on i didnt upload the segments jet. and im really pleased that i got this into a segment its very very hard to pull off and it looks really cool:
what you can see here is the roll jump method to get past GA without the grapple beam. well i tried to figure out a consistend strategy because it saves easly more than 5 minutes in a single segment run. it took me 2 days to figure it out (oh and i can really tell you it wasnt fun at all ) but i get it at 30% of the time now, decent enough and i think i can get it completely consistent once ive practiced it enough, currently i need to be very focused to pull it of. however, if you fail its a reset so i wouldn't recommend to use it in a race unless you're a beast in the secret world to get past it, the aether jumping used to be really horrible to me...
I just fought the Power Bomb Guardian, and... After bombing one of the slots, I managed to stay in it and edge back down to the track instead of getting shot out and falling down. I was in the outer slot on the right side, and I was able to head over to the outer-left one really quickly with a stickyboost.
I have no idea how I did it though. Does anyone know about this?
