1. For the first spiderless shaft, I found that sticking to the spider track (the second time) depends on your upward / downward speed.

2. What does the load trigger for East Atrium look like when going through Eyon Tunnel?

3. What does the collision look like for the rock in the 2nd Shaft?
I run this here hotel of an evening
What're you using to view triggers like that?
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I was trying to record a video of a dash to the ledge with the spider track and this happened. I expect to see it used in all single segment runs by every runner.
It's a lot easier if you stand on the boxes.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
Video comparing Mines through the back using Magma Pool IS. Because of IS lag, the IGT is actually a lot closer than the video suggests. There's less than 5 seconds difference between the routes. That being said, I wouldn't recommend using Magma Pool IS route since it delays the IBBF wallcrawl. It does remove GTH gate skip though, which I personally don't have a problem with, but some other runs do.

this route should be something like 30 seconds faster. your video doesn't take into consideration a few things:

-you lose something like 10-15 seconds to IS lagging
-you can skip the ghost fight in hote by landing on the peg and skipping the trigger (20 seconds)
-you can skip the pb in phendrana's edge because you already have one (12 seconds)

what would make this even faster would be if you could somehow obtain the pb in fiery shores instead of the one in magma pool. if you could either clip oob in warrior shrine (there's a really good spot behind the statue) or get oob in monitor station without floaty jump you could potentially save an additional minute.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
oh shit, everyone I asked said the ghost fight couldn't be skipped. and yes I did take into consideration the lag form IS, I timed it to be something around 11 seconds.

:O
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
oh wow that's just barely doable. I pray you never miss a solid run to hitting that.
wow dang, that looks scary, and this is at the very end of the run
I guess doing IBBF is faster than detouring through Crossway and fighting the ghost? Otherwise there's no reason to do it if it's after Wave.

skiping the pb in phendrana's edge would mean you'd had to get a PB drop before entering mines because you use 1 for spirit and need another one to enter mines, i guess you could skip it but it would suck

you can get a drop from pirates in Phen's edge

Isn't there a guaranteed drop in the place before the mines elevator as well?
thats after the rocks you need the powerbomb for, you need that drop aswell for the rock after ppc
The pirates drop is RNG iirc. So... if you don't get it, then you'd get the PB expansion.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I guess if you see the drop, you just skip the exp get the drop on the way down
There's a 30% chance of getting a power bomb from the Phen's Edge pirates.

I would imagine that you'd save even more time by skipping PB/Infinite Speed altogether and doing Great Tree Chamber right after Wave Beam & Ice Beam 'normally,' and infinite boosting out of the PB rock (like Elite Quarters/whatever Warrior's room is) but this requires you doing GTC lol
Going OoB in Great Tree Chamber, wallcrawling to Life Grove, going through a big detour so you can get both the Artifact and X-Ray without having to blow up the wall, and then boosting back through the rock sounds slower than just ISing the PB to me.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
I'm almost certain that wall is solid both ways, I don't remember the back being sticky. It wouldn't be much of a detour though, Parax. You can collect Chozo while still in a SW and then trigger the ghosts to get spawned back inbounds. I'm pretty sure at that point you need to fight them though, I've never heard of being able to infinite boost through the rocks there.
Fighting the ghosts is most of the detour :P
loving low%
Oh my, now any% gets harder and even harder so I ask myself how runs will survive until Meta Ridley..
