I'm pretty sure it would still look like a car. Just because you don't know what something is doesn't mean it looks different. Then again, I don't know what the physical manifestation of the concept of magic would look like, so it might look like magic even though it looks like a car.

You ever see Star Trek?  Transporters look like magic.  Warp Drive looks like magic.  Heck, even laser beams that we have today would look like magic.  I know Star Trek isn't the best example, but all of its stuff that looks like magic can be seen as a logical step forward in technology that we know, so we don't have to resort to magic to explain it.
I want to resort to magic to explain Samus's chozo created power ups. I don't really want it to be mundane. Actually, some ordinary things seem rather magical if you think about them, and I like that. I think there should be more of a sense of wonder in the world sometimes.
