Not sure exactly what your asking, but to put in water/fogs just go to FX1. For more check out this video:

Muahahah
No, man. I wanna water and clouds are moving in the background  laugh new
If you can help, thanks
You can have any background scroll by changing the scroll X/Y values by going to Tools>Background Editor>BG/Layer2 Scrolling. Setting the value higher will raise the rate at which it moves with Samus...

If you want a scrolling sky like in the Landing Site, I believe you can just change your rooms' Layer1_2 Pointer to that of the Landing Site. Make sure you click "No" so you don't overwrite that pointer when saving.

I think he's asking for a way to have scrolling sky and water. Not sure if that's possible; you'd have to do some ASM probably, unless there's a way to use scrolling sky besides the FX editor.

Don't ask me, I never use the damn stuff.
OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
I believe you can actually have water AND a scrolling sky easy, as I've got spores/rain (depending on the time of day) in all of my outside rooms, and they all have a scrolling sky background. I don't think the scrolling sky in the FX1 actually makes any difference if you use the layer1_2 and FX2 values.

Which means you can also use water. Plus wasn't it done in Redesign?

Ok, I asked about something closely related to this a while back, but I'm still not quite clear on this. What are the requirements for a door? They have to be on the edge of a screen, from what I've heard. But what are the scroll requirements for a horizontal door, and what are the scroll requirements for a vertical door?

Are you mean the last 2 bytes in door editor? 0000, in most cases. This is a pointer to ASM that will change default scrolling for the room you entering via door.

And my question is... Is it possible to place more than 50 enemies into the room? Actually, I need to place 69 of them

Actually, the max is 32 decimal, or 20 hex. No easy way of having more enemies in a single room comes to mind, you'd have to come up with some creative enemy-swapping code or something.

No, I mean the room's scroll. Like does it need to be in a green scroll screen, and the screen next to it needs to be a green scroll, too? I'm just trying to figure this out.

Not sure if that is answering my question but, is there a way to put water and rain in a room at the same time?

Indirectly related to your question (but it's come up a fair amount in my inbox lately), so let me point out to people who don't know . . . Ever play a hack with a shitload of enemies in every room, but with lots of lag in each room?  Think about it.  No one likes the enemies that are inactive while off screen (ie- it sucks to have something chasing you, then simply stop the moment you have it one millimeter off screen).  Problem is that if you have dozens of enemies running at the same time, it creates a buttload of drag.

There's nothing to fix, SMILE only works for NTSC roms, which shouldn't be hard to find.

OK, so does it have to be a Super Metroid ROM like i figure it would have to be, or can I use any, because In fact I am having a hard time finding one...
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
You need the Super Metroid (JU) [!] version, but you aren't allowed to ask for ROM's here, so get Googling, my friend. Very Happy

Thanks, I'll see what i can find :)

It's illegal to share roms. It's also forbidden on this site. Also, try to have more content in the future when you post. [/mini-modding]

Anyways, what scrolls do I need to have for horizontal and vertical doors? Blue? Green? I mean the full screen-scrolls, where you go into SMILE's scroll editor to change them.
Muahahah
But so, I wanna have a scrolling sky how the sky of first room (Ship Room).
Only is possible with ASM?
Go ahead. Stare.
You need to use green scrolls for verticle doors. It can be either green or blue for horizontal doors.

Isn't it the other way round?  Since blue scrolls don't show the bottom two rows, you couldn't see a door if it has to go on the edge... Eh?
Fear Me! (Or else...)
Also, I've noticed that even when I use those scrolls, it still sometimes messes up unless I fix the scroll next to that screen. What're the requirements for that?

I think you confused verticle and horizontal. Green shows the bottom two rows, and is needed for verticle doors. (Unless it is backwards in the newest SMILE version.)

Your problem with scrolling errors still being caused is something I'm not sure of.
